Camping for Classrooms Weekend
A spring camping weekend at O’Neil Creek Campground pairs time outdoors with school support. For participating campsite bookings, 50 percent of the stay is donated to local elementary school PTOs. During reservation, guests enter the code for the school they wish to benefit. After the weekend, totals linked to each code determine the donations that go directly to each PTO. There are no sales or extra purchases to manage, just a camping trip that contributes to a cause. Expect a cozy early season experience with campfires, fresh air, and family friendly activities when weather and turnout allow. It is also an easy way for school communities to connect. Bungalows are available to rent for those without a camper. Because it is early in the season, campground water service may not yet be on, and tanks can be filled at the camp store if needed. Reservations can be made online or by phone, and including a school code at booking ensures the contribution is directed to the chosen PTO.
