Casting is open to adults 18 and older from all backgrounds, and no prior experience is required. The production is physically demanding, with many roles involving crawling, balancing, climbing, lifting, running, and falling. Roles include Annie, the company stage manager; Sandra, who portrays Florence Colleymoore; Trevor, the lighting and sound operator; Chris, the head of the society and a first-time director who appears as Inspector Carter; Jonathan as Charles Haversham; Robert as Thomas Colleymoore; Dennis as Perkins; Max as Cecil Haversham and the gardener, along with opportunities for stage crew. Director Douglas Instenes will conduct auditions at the Racine Theatre Guild. No appointment is necessary, and participants only need to attend once. Auditions consist of cold readings from the script. Scripts may be borrowed in advance from the box office with a refundable $10 deposit.
