A Milwaukee tradition since 1991, the season centers on jazz while also showcasing blues, swing, Billy Joel tributes, Grateful Dead-inspired sets, and goth dance music. New for 2026, Cathedral Square Market brings local vendors offering art, handmade goods, treats, and more. This night features New York State of Mind with 52nd Street: The Music of Billy Joel. Bier Garden brings live local music to Market Square on summer Thursdays. This edition features Open Tab and serves as a Give Back Night for the Elmbrook Humane Society, with a portion of sales supporting the organization. If the weather does not cooperate, the event will move inside Cafe Hollander.

Devon first rose to prominence with Honeytribe and later as a co-founder of Royal Southern Brotherhood, and he is known for high-energy performances, standout musicianship, and a contemporary Southern sound that blends blues, rock, soul, and improvisation.

Acclaimed actor, humanitarian, musician, author, and founder of the Gary Sinise Foundation, Gary Sinise returns to Milwaukee to lead GRACEFUL WARRIOR, a benefit concert supporting Skylight Music Theatre. Presented as a world premiere, the program features a 25-piece orchestra performing original compositions by his late son, McCanna “Mac” Sinise, with narration by Gary Sinise. Through video and personal reflections, the evening honors Mac’s artistic legacy following his passing in 2024 from a rare spinal cancer, offering a moving exploration of love, loss, and enduring hope. Sound Check Entertainment brings a high energy night of live music to Paulie’s Pub and Eatery with two standout Wisconsin acts, Farwell Kings and Colt and the Gunners. Both earned recognition as fierce contenders in Battle of the Bands Wisconsin and now share the stage for a showcase of country, Americana, and rock. Expect rugged guitar work, tight rhythms, and rootsy melodies. Farwell Kings mixes original tunes with select covers that tap into alt country and hard charging rock and roll, while Colt and the Gunners fuse country grit with a rock edge built to light up the room. Sidewalks become a canvas at this relaxed art contest at Shelby’s National Tap. Creators of every skill level can chalk the pavement, from seasoned artists to anyone who just wants a laid back excuse to color outdoors. Artist entry is $20 and includes a drink and a gift. Enjoy live music, cash awards and prizes for standout pieces, and an easygoing atmosphere that does not insist on staying inside the lines. Art is created on site, voting will determine favorites, and winners are announced without needing to be present.

Rain or shine, this motorcycle ride and party supports Make-A-Wish Wisconsin. Registration takes place at Matty’s Bar & Grille, costs $20 per rider, and breakfast is available for purchase. The route visits American Roadhouse, Sandlots of Salem, Spanky’s Sports Bar and Grille, and Stumpy’s Cabin before returning to Matty’s. After the ride, there will be live music by Cornfield Keg Party, raffles, and poker hand prizes.
