Snowy Owl Hand Embroidery Class & Ambassador Bird Visit
Learn fine, detailed hand embroidery through the Snowy Owl design by Landly AK in a four-hour, hands-on class. Over the session, participants will learn seven stitches, and all supplies are provided, though you may bring your own preferred items. If you wear glasses, even occasionally, bringing them is encouraged. Thirty-five percent of proceeds support Bird TLC. The class also includes a visit and short program with an Ambassador Snowy Owl, featuring natural behaviors, the species’ natural history, and insights into how ambassadors are cared for and trained. This class is held outdoors under a tent, so dress with the weather in mind. You will leave with your piece, a 5-inch hoop, a size 7 needle, and thread to finish any remaining work at home. Best suited for ages 16 and older. Embroidery is a slower craft, so completing the design during class is unlikely. No refunds are offered.
