STEAM Saturdays turns the STEAM Lab into Monster Mash, a series of simple, hands-on monster crafts designed for young learners and their families. Children can create clothespin, coffee filter, and paper bag monsters, experiment with a white crayon resist spiderweb watercolor, and try a Frankenstein-themed fork painting activity. These age-appropriate projects nurture curiosity about paleontology, fossils, and prehistoric life while supporting early learning through play and creativity. Families can explore together, ask questions, and spark a lasting interest in science and discovery. Activities take place during regular STEAM Lab hours and are included with general admission. Timed entry is in effect for the STEAM Lab, with wristbands available at Guest Services.
