This outdoor, all-ages, two-day festival unfolds at the Observatory Festival Grounds in the Observatory parking lot, showcasing performances from Coheed and Cambria, Circa Survive, Sunny Day Real Estate, Turnover, PUP, Thursday, La Dispute, Destroy Boys, Hail The Sun, The Prize Fighter Inferno, Covet, Rocket, Narrow Head, Joey Eppard, Held, Willowake, and Slow Mass. Two-day passes provide entry for both days. Ticket availability includes a public onsale and presale options for Coheed and Cambria, Live Nation, and Citi cardmembers.

AutoZone will collect used motor oil and offer a free filter exchange. Drain and gather up to five gallons of motor oil in a plastic container, then bring it, up to two used oil filters, and your email voucher to the event. In exchange for the used filters, you can receive up to two free oil filters of equal or lesser value. This program is funded by CalRecycle and operated in partnership with WRCOG member jurisdictions, including the City of Perris.

At Autozone in San Jacinto, participants can drop off used motor oil and swap up to two used oil filters for new ones of comparable or lower value. To take part, first claim two free filters to receive an email voucher, then drain and store up to five gallons of used motor oil in a plastic container, and finally bring the voucher, the container of oil, and up to two used filters to the event. Big Orange Classic I is a marching band competition at Riverside City College, presented in partnership with the Western Band Association.

Behind The Picket Fence Vintage & Handmade Marketplace brings more than 85 vendors to the Heritage Museum of Orange County, showcasing vintage and antique goods, upcycled and repurposed pieces, farmhouse decor, shabby chic items, and rustic finds. The setting spans 12 acres with buildings from the 1890s, a rose garden, citrus groves, a nature walk, farmhouses, a blacksmith, and the historic Kellogg House. A guided art session invites participants ages 10 to 13 to create a poster for this year’s contest. Artist Bethanne Kiernan will be available to offer design guidance. SCCPE will be present at the Reptile Super Show at the Anaheim Convention Center. Members will have plants and related supplies available to buy, and attendees can learn more about the club. Purchasing entry tickets in advance is recommended.

Haiku Unlimited transforms Moreno Valley Mall into a lively hub for anime fans and families. This free, all-ages gathering brings together local vendors and small businesses with anime and pop culture merchandise, handmade artwork, collectibles like Pokémon cards, and more. Cosplayers are welcome, with plenty of chances for photos. Visitors can expect prize drawings, food, music, and a relaxed atmosphere for browsing unique finds and meeting creators. The mall’s shops, dining, and entertainment are close at hand, and free parking makes it easy to spend time exploring. Designed as a community marketplace, it offers a friendly way to connect, shop, and enjoy an anime-inspired experience with surprises throughout the event.

A free community arts gathering at Santa Ana Lawn Bowling Club brings creativity and culture together with hands-on workshops for all ages. Try painting, collage, and crafts, take part in complimentary salsa dance lessons, enjoy food, and browse affordable original works by local artists while connecting with the creative community. The celebration highlights the traditions of Hispanic, Middle Eastern, Pacific Islander, and European communities in Orange County. Open to both newcomers and experienced makers, the atmosphere is welcoming and focused on the joy of creating together. Presented by The Art Spread, a nonprofit dedicated to expanding access to the arts and supporting artists, with sponsorship in part from the City of Santa Ana.

The Humane Society of San Bernardino Valley hosts its annual Howler-ween Casino Night, presented by Caston Inc., at its facility. Guests can enjoy casino-style games along with music, dancing, food, and dessert from Caligirl Sweets, which will be serving ice cream and cotton candy. At Skydive Perris, this water training course supports skydivers who have earned an A license and are working toward a B license. The session focuses on how to handle an unexpected water landing, a scenario that is uncommon at the dropzone yet important to be ready for.
