You Can Be A Veterinarian Camp
At Education at Helen Woodward Animal Center in San Diego, kids ages 9 to 16 can experience what veterinarians do through a hands-on camp. Participants practice basic suturing on a banana, listen to the heartbeat of a mini horse, and use a microscope to spot bacteria. The program also introduces core skills such as drawing blood and vaccination techniques, along with an exploration of the tools veterinarians rely on. Designed to build practical confidence while fostering connections with animals, the camp offers both half-day and full-day options. Space is limited, and pricing and additional details are provided during booking.
