This monthly social ride rolls out from Bird Rock Coffee Roasters in Bressi Ranch and returns to the same spot. Participants wearing a Swami’s kit can enjoy coffee and a pastry covered by the club. The route spans 34 miles with approximately 1,540 feet of elevation gain. Riders gather in front of the café and head out together at a two-abreast conversational pace that welcomes both newer and long-standing members. For safety, the group splits into smaller clusters on the San Luis Rey bike path. Riders are asked to review the route in advance or load it to a GPS bike computer. There are planned regroup points, but this is not a no-drop ride.

Exposure Skate brings the world’s largest women’s skate gathering to Encinitas Community Park, blending high-level runs with a welcoming, community vibe that champions inclusion. Participants span every skill level, from hometown riders to international pros, creating a space where encouragement and progression thrive together. Whether you roll, cheer from the deck, or are new to the culture, this is far more than a competition. It stands as a movement for women and girls in skateboarding.

Candlelight concerts bring a live, multi-sensory musical experience to an awe-inspiring San Diego setting, with the stage at Mission San Luis Rey aglow with candles. This program celebrates Vivaldi, featuring movements from The Four Seasons alongside complementary selections such as Gershwin’s Summertime, Max Richter’s On the Nature of Daylight, Simon and Garfunkel’s A Hazy Shade of Winter, and Vivaldi’s La Follia. The performance is presented by the Range Ensemble string quartet. The program lasts about 65 minutes. Doors open one hour before the music begins and there is no late entry once the performance starts. Guests must be at least 8 years old, and anyone under 16 must attend with an adult. The venue is ADA compliant. Seating is assigned within zones on a first come, first served basis.
