SidelineSwap hosts a trade-in event at Dick’s Sporting Goods in Encinitas, CA, where participants can exchange gently used sports gear for a Dick’s gift card based on the item’s assessed value. Trade-in values are determined using SidelineSwap’s Value Guide. Equipment from many sports is considered, such as hockey, lacrosse, baseball, softball, fishing, snow sports, and tennis. Items should be in good working order, purchased within the last five years, and have had an original retail price over $100. Some gear is ineligible. Damaged or heavily worn products, items that are difficult to clean or show mold or mildew, purchases older than five years, knock-offs, generic store brands, and counterfeits are not accepted. Large pieces like bikes, kayaks, treadmills, and free weights are excluded, as are items that originally retailed for less than $100.
Dungeons and Dragons nights @ Knowhere
Get ready to roll for initiative at Knowhere Games and Comics with a new run of Dungeons and Dragons nights. Multiple tables are hosted by experienced Dungeon Masters and welcome all ages and skill levels, including first-time players. Entry is $7, and the first visit is free. Participants can watch or jump into a game, talk with other players, and see whether an open table is a good fit. Spaces are currently available. Tables include ongoing campaigns as well as short, self-contained sessions for those who prefer a lighter commitment.
