    The Anchored Experience: Reset

Pasadena, California · verified Aug 2
    See details

Created for women who spend their days caring for others, this intimate afternoon centers on rest, clarity, and coming back to yourself. Presented as the first gathering from Four Anchors Collective, it takes place in Pasadena, California and is intentionally limited to 30 participants to keep the experience personal and curated. This is not a conference or a workshop, it is a guided experience with moments that encourage stepping away from your phone so you can tune in to what matters most. The program weaves together mind, body, spirit, and integration. Dr. Lori Ochoa, an expert in behavioral sciences, leads a warm empowerment conversation that offers practical strategies in a relaxed, non-lecture setting. A physician from ConciergeMD, Dr. Resham Uttamchandani, shares an overview of peptides and longevity wellness, followed by a Q&A and a supervised opportunity to sample peptide options and notice how your body responds. A gentle restorative yoga session with Desiree Bourne invites stillness and breath without intensity or performance. A guided spiritual practice offers quiet space to be present. The afternoon closes with The Release List, a structured ritual that helps you name what you are setting down and what you choose to carry forward. Light, nourishing bites and beverages are included to support the restorative pace. Participants receive unhurried time for themselves, expert-led sessions across mind, body, and spirit, The Anchored Experience Kit to extend the benefits at home, connection with others who understand the weight you carry, and access to a private community for continued support. Suggested attire is neutral tones such as soft linens and earthy layers in cream, taupe, or sage to match the calm of the day. Hosted by Tatiana Vallejo of Four Anchors Collective, with partners Dr. Lori Ochoa, Desiree Bourne, ConciergeMD, and Dr. Resham Uttamchandani, MD. The gathering is educational and supportive, not a substitute for medical advice, and personal health decisions should be made with your own provider. Event photography or video may be captured and shared by Four Anchors Collective. All ticket sales are final and nonrefundable. “You almost didn’t come. You came anyway. That is the whole thing.”

Second Saturdays w/Jason Luckett & Friends: The Songs Made Us

Archetype Yoga, 634 E Colorado Blvd, Pasadena · verified Aug 2
    See details

At Archetype Yoga, Jason Luckett and friends present The Songs Made Us, a warm celebration shaped as a personal soundtrack to life, love, and comfort for his birthday. The gathering is designed to feel like a visit to a family home where favorite records spin, rooted in the music parents might have played, balanced with the albums that carried listeners through adolescence and the timeless artists everyone shares. Inspirations span beloved songwriters and bands, from Burt Bacharach, the Beatles, Jimmy Webb, Paul Williams, Paul Simon, Marvin Gaye, Curtis Mayfield, Nina Simone, Antonio Carlos Jobim, Elton John, and Pete Townshend to Elvis Costello, Billy Bragg, the Smiths, Earth, Wind & Fire, Bob Marley, Joni Mitchell, Rickie Lee Jones, Bill Withers, and Stevie Wonder. Performances are planned from Danette Christine & Rober Luis, Jeanne Newhall, Jami Lula, Jason Luckett, Joselyn & Don, J Ramada, Mary Scholz, Robbie McDonald, Ruthann Friedman, Sara Melson, Stefanie Naifeh & JP, Steve Key, and Willie Aron, with dance by Haize Hawke and Hilary Thomas, and possibly additional guests. Most artists will share one song while Jason offers a few, creating a communal tribute to enduring songs, the writers behind them, and the connections they inspire. This is a pay-what-you-can community event, with suggested options of $25 for entry, $35 for supporters, $50 for patrons who help sustain the music and space, and $10 for students or anyone with limited income.
