Bert Kreischer brings his trademark humor and storytelling to the Pool Side at Tachi Palace Hotel & Casino, setting the stage for a laugh filled night and plenty of good times. The result is a comedy experience centered on memorable stories and lots of laughs.

Deaverville returns to perform at the Kingsburg Crayfish Festival, also known as Kräftskiva. The festivities include live music, a crayfish chowder cook off, a crayfish eating contest, and the option of a crayfish boil or chowder dinner. Educational presentations run throughout the event. Dr. Deric Ikuta addresses lip ties, tongue ties, and airway health. Alicia Zayas, LCSW, PMH-C, focuses on maternal mental health. Joey Valero shares insight on fatherhood and supporting growing families. Kristi Wilder highlights ways to nurture a love of reading. Nicole Parrish offers babywearing education, and Marlene Solorio discusses doula support and birth preparation. Presentation times will be announced closer to the event. The 13th Annual Reencuentro Purhépecha gathers at Lemoore College to celebrate Purhépecha traditions, Indigenous roots, language, music, dance, art, and culture in the heart of California. The event highlights the beauty of the Purhépecha language alongside traditional danza, music, song, ceremonial practices, and the cuisine of Michoacán, recognized by the United Nations as part of the Intangible Cultural Heritage of Humanity. With support from Chancellor Robert Pimentel and the West Hills Community College District team, this gathering honors identity, ancestry, and community. Lemoore College is centrally located, near Huron and connected by State Routes 198 and 41, between Interstate 5 and Highway 99, making it accessible for families and communities across California.
