Solano County residents age 18 and older can receive individualized GED preparation in a one-on-one class format. Each participant meets with instructor Paula Landers to create a testing timeline and study plan, get answers to questions, and identify strategies that fit their learning style. A workbook and a subject-area textbook are provided at no cost, and students choose with Paula which sections to focus on, since completing the entire book is not required to be ready for the exams. The class also introduces online practice tools to support study between sessions. Registration is handled in the classroom.
