This weekend in San Bernardino, CA

Now in its third year, the Inland Empire Black Health and Fitness Business Expo is a free, family-friendly community event centered on health, wellness, and community empowerment. A panel of speakers shares expertise across fitness, nutrition, mental health, and holistic care, offering personal perspectives and practical takeaways rooted in work within the Black community. Conversations explore challenges, recognize achievements, and present solutions that support healthier lives. The business expo component includes vendors.

Spend a morning improving Veterans Park through a hands-on beautification effort. Volunteers will help collect litter, sweep pathways, tidy up picnic spots, and give the playground some extra care. All tools and materials are provided, and on-site staff will organize and guide the work. Participation can count toward volunteer hours. The City of Fontana provides a recurring low cost mobile clinic for dogs and cats at Fontana Dog Park. Services include vaccinations, microchips, flea medication, and more. Appointments are not necessary. Attendees should bring dogs on leashes and cats in carriers. This clinic takes place on select Saturdays and Sundays each month. For questions, call 1 (800) 988-VETS.

This walk-in clinic does not require appointments. Attendees are helped in the order they arrive, and registration will close partway through, so plan to come early. Vouchers are available to Colton residents and may be used only for vaccinations or for microchipping services. Parking is limited to the street.
