R5 HILL REPEAT RIDE!
A midweek hill workout that follows the route used by the old G2 hill repeats, starting at Board & Brew in Laguna Niguel. Bring lights during the first few weeks. This is a cohesive group ride that welcomes all levels, covering about 17 miles with roughly 2,381 feet of climbing. The group attacks each ascent, then comes back together regularly... at the bottom of the first climb on Highlands, at the third on PID South, and at the optional Clubhouse hill. Regroups also happen at the top of Niguel Road and the final climb on PID North before heading back together. To keep waits short, if the lead rider crests a hill and descends past you, turn around and head down as well. The Hill Repeat Ride runs every Wednesday night through mid September.
