Pismo Summer Market
This weekly community gathering fills Pismo Pier Plaza, next to the PISMO BEACH sign, with more than 40 local artisans, a variety of food, and live music just steps from the beach. Guests can listen to local musicians while taking in ocean views. Families will find face painting and a small play area located a short distance from the event. It offers a chance to support small, local creators in a beachside setting. Pismo Beach Pier Plazaadidas Pub Run
Running Warehouse and adidas present a community run in San Luis Obispo at Shindig Cider. The route covers approximately 3 miles and welcomes both runners and walkers. There is no cost to take part. Arrive early to complete a waiver and try on the newest adidas shoes. The first 100 attendees receive a free drink, and there will be prizes and giveaways after the run.

BA Start Arcade Bar hosts a casual, social poker night with Sunshine Poker League that welcomes newcomers and seasoned players alike. Gambling is not allowed, keeping the focus on learning, friendly competition, and community. A $5 donation is appreciated. Players vie for prizes, league points, bragging rights, and Bar Poker Open virtual tokens, with the top three finishers earning tokens for online qualifier tournaments. Those qualifiers can lead to the Bar Poker Open Championship in Las Vegas, a $400,000 event where first place pays $100,000. Expect cold beer, tasty cocktails, and great food, along with plenty of chances to meet people and sharpen your game.

The Siren in Morro Bay welcomes a bill featuring The Beat Farmers with The Centuries. Blending roots rock, country rock, blues, rockabilly, folk rock, and rock and roll, The Beat Farmers trace their start to San Diego barrooms, where constant gigging shaped a lively, no-nonsense stage presence focused on entertaining the crowd. Their early releases marked key moments in that journey, from the stripped-down debut Tales of the New West in 1985 to Van Go in 1986 and the harder-hitting The Pursuit of Happiness in 1987. A 1990 live album, Loud and Plowed and...LIVE!, captured the group in their natural element with an audience feeding off the energy.
