Trivia Night @ Draughtsman Aleworks - Goleta
Test your knowledge at a live, multimedia trivia night at Draughtsmen Aleworks in Goleta. Alan Irwin, an improv master, hosts the event, and it is free to play with prizes up for grabs. Food trucks will be available, and arriving early makes it easier to secure a good seat.
Local Community Hostel Potluck
The ITH Santa Barbara Surf Hostel hosts a laid back community potluck that brings together locals and travelers from around the world. Recreation Swim
Cool off with a free recreation swim at Ortega Park Pool. This swim time is designed for children ages 13 and under, with lifeguards on duty. The pool runs for recreation swim on weekdays from 12:30 PM to 2:30 PM, and on Saturdays from 12:00 PM to 5:00 PM. Please note the facility is closed on Saturday, July 4 for the holiday, and it stays open through the summer season until August 15.
Ortega Park Pool ️Childbirth Preparation Class: In Person
Join a two-evening in-person childbirth preparation class at Santa Barbara Cottage Hospital. You’ll learn about the labor process, explore pain relief options (non-medical and medical), and get the chance to tour the Birth Center. A certified childbirth educator will be there for questions about labor and birth, and the class is designed to help expectant families prepare for the arrival of their baby. It’s recommended to register about 6 or more weeks before your due date.
