Kick Back and Read: Quiet Reading Hour
Unplug and work on your reading goals during this quiet reading hour. You’ll have a quick book chat, enjoy a sweet treat, and then settle in for some focused reading time. Summer Discovery Program sign-ups are available, and prizes are awarded as you meet reading and program goals. For ages 7 and up.

Head to Central Park for a summer night of live music in the “Concerts in the Park” series featuring Woodie & The Longboards. Admission is free, and you can enjoy the show with the food trucks on site, or bring your own picnic and blankets and lawn chairs. Expect a fun mix of pop music from the 50s through the 80s.

Bring your imagination to the library for an in-person art session where kids (ages 5 to 12, with a caregiver) will make their own DIY pencil pouch. The activity focuses on designing a one-of-a-kind pouch they can use for school. Registration is required.

Join this in-person storytime designed to help kids get ready for school. You’ll enjoy stories along with songs, rhymes, and movement, with activities aimed at building early learning skills. This program is for ages 2 to 5 and is for kids to attend with a parent or caregiver.
