Marfa is a Colorado-born duo shaped by western textures and a love for the Laurel Canyon tradition, creating an Americana rock blend that feels classic yet new. Bryce Menchaca and Kellen Wall introduced their sound with the debut single 66, produced by GRAMMY winner Nick Waterhouse and recorded at Los Angeles’ EastWest Studios, a storied space tied to landmark albums like Pet Sounds and California Dreamin’. Momentum followed with the fan favorite Daisy, which climbed into the Top 5 at Americana radio and reached the Top 40 at AAA. In 2025 they became the first act to sign with Ascend Music, a division of Big Machine Label Group, and released Little Miss Two Time, spotlighted by KCRW’s Today’s Top Tunes for connecting Laurel Canyon’s lineage with a West Texas vibe, rich harmonies, and a lively stomp. Recent tracks American Lonely and Little Lowdown carry their Denver-rooted Americana farther, inviting listeners into a broad, imaginative sound. Westword named them Best Breakout Folk Duo in its Best of Denver 2025 issue, and they have taken their roots-and-rock live show out alongside Southall, The Mavericks, and Kashus Culpepper.

Josiah and the Bonnevilles
An all-ages performance from Josiah and the Bonnevilles spotlights the distinctive songwriting of Josiah Leming, who carried his music from East Tennessee to stages across the country and built a loyal community along the way. After an early major label chapter, he chose the independent route and honored his fans by including them in his artist name. Known for unfiltered emotion and a powerful connection with audiences, he followed a streak of sold-out headline shows with international dates that underscored his global reach. His newest album, As Is, shifts more electric while preserving the vivid storytelling, precise imagery, and vulnerable vocals that define his work. Stepping back from the online noise, Leming wrote nearly a hundred songs, selected ten, and collaborated more than ever with writers such as Natalie Hemby, Joel Little, and Scott Harris. Teaming with co-producer Konrad Snyder allowed him to focus on performance in the studio, yielding tracks that often move with greater energy and explore themes of joy, sorrow, and working-class life. The collection ranges from the surging Good Boy and the feel-good Carolina Heart to the reflective Going Gone and the harmonica-laced Mountain Girl, with the single Hell Without the Flames highlighting some of his strongest lyrics and vocals. Raised in Morristown as one of nine siblings, Leming taught himself piano at eight and was writing by thirteen, roots that inform music grounded in empathy, pride in his Appalachian community, and everyday resilience.
