Topics draw from the Sue’s Gift blog and emphasize emotional care, trauma-informed approaches, and strategies for managing the psychological challenges that accompany a diagnosis. Lunch for the Parker meeting is provided at no cost through the generosity of Texas Roadhouse, with appreciation to Trevor Droogan, the managing partner at the Parker location. The herd moves from Rock Park along Perry Street and into a corral near Festival Park, with the Rocky Mountain Indigenous Dancers leading the procession. The best views are along Perry Street as cowhands guide the cattle down the route. After the herd is settled, Festival Park features additional performances by the dancers, an old-time family photo opportunity, food trucks, and entertainment with interactive experiences for all ages. For safety, spectators should remain behind the protective barriers on Perry Street. Perry Street is closed between Scott Street and South Street, and there is no parking on Perry Street or at Rock Park.
