Topics are drawn from the Sue’s Gift blog and emphasize emotional support, trauma-informed strategies, and practical ways to handle the psychological challenges that come with a cancer diagnosis. By combining professional guidance, peer connection, and nourishment, the program helps reduce isolation and strengthens emotional well-being throughout the cancer journey. Lunch at the Parker location is provided at no cost by Texas Roadhouse, with appreciation to Managing Partner Trevor Droogan. The Parker group generally meets on the Wednesday following the third Monday of the month, with occasional adjustments when needed.

Marking its 120th year, the Arapahoe County Fair brings a blend of time-honored tradition and fresh excitement to the Arapahoe County Fair & Event Center. Puzzle enthusiasts of all ages team up in pairs for a fast paced challenge at St. Matthew’s Episcopal Church. Each team receives a sealed 500 piece jigsaw with a family friendly image and has two hours to complete it. After brief announcements and a short countdown, teams open their bags and begin assembling. Prizes are awarded to the top three teams, and every competitor keeps the puzzle. A complimentary puzzle swap is available to participants during the event. Tickets are $17.50 per person, and each teammate must have an individual ticket. After purchasing, email your teammate’s name and your team name to mymindquest@gmail.com. Kids and adult teams are welcome, and matching shirts, creative team names and fun puzzle themed outfits are encouraged. Box top holders and sorting trays of any size are allowed. Extra lighting and recording devices are permitted if they do not disturb others and do not require plugging in. Puzzles must remain sealed until the start. Street parking near the venue is preferred. Please register complete teams about three days in advance when possible. If the event appears sold out and a teammate still needs to pay, contact the organizer to confirm space and be prepared to pay at the event. Proceeds support the ACC Foundation by funding scholarships, with more than $360,000 raised to date.
