Hands-on work with Han-style garments and flowing silk scarves, known as pibo, helps embody grace and everyday etiquette through costume. After returning home, she partnered with Barbara Ruzansky, founder of West Hartford Yoga, to co-create a community studio inside Hartford’s 224 EcoSpace so practice could be accessible to people who might not otherwise enter a studio. Her training includes a 200 hour certification with Anne Falkowski of Samadhi Yoga Studio, roots in the Kripalu and Forrest hatha lineages, completion of the two year Mindfulness Meditation Teacher Certification Program with Jack Kornfield and Tara Brach, and certification in Yoga Nidra in the lineage of Tracee Stanley.
