Market at the Depot gathers local vendors on the first and third Saturday each month. Expect a welcoming mix of handcrafted goods and homemade creations alongside fresh produce and plenty of sweets. The Feast of Champions brings the countywide Citrus County Hunger Games to a close with a community celebration at the REALTORS® Association of Citrus County. Organizations across eight districts have been earning Meal Points by collecting food and financial contributions to support local children and families, with one item equaling one point and each dollar counting as two. During this gathering, each district’s champion is recognized, the overall Citrus County Hunger Games Champion is announced, community impact totals are shared, and the sponsors and volunteers who powered the effort are honored. The focus is on celebrating how many children and families were fed through the collective work of community leaders, sponsors, volunteers, and competitors.
