An evening mixer and fellowship reception takes place in the Crown Plaza Main Ballroom and includes dinner service. The weekend concludes with a farewell breakfast in the same ballroom, bringing everyone together one more time to cap the celebration.

A silent disco sets up on the Jacksonville Beach Pier every Friday. Headphone rental is $10 for adults and $5 for kids under 18. Each headset offers three channels you can switch between at any time, color coded blue for pop hits, green for old but gold, and red for a request hotline. You can sync with friends on the same channel or dance to your own beat. Content note: blue and green channels remain clean for a portion of the event, there is a period when explicit content may play across all channels, and the red channel may include explicit music throughout. This 14th annual community run, walk, and roll in Orange Park welcomes participants of every age and ability while advancing inclusion. Proceeds support the purchase of a wheelchair accessible van so the people served by BASCA can travel safely to medical appointments, workplaces, activities, and community outings, helping them stay connected, independent, and engaged. Choose the experience that fits best, from a one mile fun walk and a scenic 3.1 mile 5K to a virtual option that can be completed from anywhere. New touches this year include fundraising incentives, a best team name competition, the return of the cape contest, and plenty of vendors, mascots, food, and family friendly activities. Ainsley’s Angels returns to help ensure an accessible and welcoming experience for all participants. Every participant receives a commemorative race T shirt and a finisher medal. Five kilometer runners benefit from chip timing and finish line photos, and overall and age group awards will be presented. Team spirit and capes are part of the fun.

Tails & Trails returns for its sixth year with a celebration of furry companions set among the Arboretum’s scenic trails in Jacksonville. Attendees can wander the paths, take in the natural beauty, and explore a variety of dog-centered offerings. Vendors will showcase pet products, accessories, and local services, and raffle prizes will help support the Arboretum. Food trucks will serve a range of bites, and there will be photo opportunities, dog activities, and surprises throughout the day. Admission is $3 for general entry. Dogs, friends, and comfortable walking shoes are a perfect fit for this tail-wagging outing.

Families and friends come together for a Saturday outreach that supports about 250 downtown neighbors. With hot summer conditions expected, attendees are encouraged to eat beforehand, bring plenty of water, and consider bringing a tent for shade. Donations are welcome, including bananas, bottled water, sandwiches, crackers, or other items you would like to contribute. Clothing items such as socks and shoes can also be dropped off. There is an ongoing need for weekly supplies like coffee and creamer, cups, sugar, stirrers, gloves, powdered Gatorade, and hot cocoa mix. The organizers share heartfelt thanks for the continued support that makes this effort possible.

Clean music is available on the blue and green channels. Kids and teens receive complimentary headphone rentals if they are under 18, accompanied by a paying guardian 18 or older, and present in line. Adult headphone rental is $10, and payment is accepted by cash, card, or Apple Pay.
