Island Hop Craft Beer & Spirits Fest at Central Park welcomes families and dogs for a fundraiser organized by Fernandina Beach Main Street. Expect tastings of local and regional craft beers alongside wine and spirits, live music by the Honey Badgers, a variety of food vendors, and a marketplace. The festival goes on rain or shine. Guests are encouraged to bring refillable water bottles, blankets, and chairs. Complimentary parking is available within walking distance across from the entry gate. A VIP Experience offers early entry, a commemorative tasting glass, access to a dedicated VIP tent, and the convenience of a private, air conditioned restroom trailer with three stalls and two sinks. VIP tickets also include automatic entry into exclusive prize drawings, with winners announced during the event and required to be present to claim prizes. General admission includes unlimited beer tastings and a tasting glass. Non drinker tickets provide access to the festival, food, and music. Children under 12 may attend at no cost when accompanied by an adult. Attendees must be 21 or older to consume alcohol. Please do not drink and drive. Proceeds benefit Fernandina Beach Main Street, a 501(c)(3) nonprofit dedicated to fostering a vibrant, business friendly historic community for all.

Jump Jive & Wail / Swing Night
Experience jazz in motion as a high-energy concert flows into a rollicking swing dance. The Les DeMerle Little Big Band, featuring vocalist Bonnie Eisele, sets the tone with arrangements that celebrate the era when swing ruled the bandstands. Hear Jim Malmgren on trumpet and Clarence Hines on trombone, with a vibrant saxophone section led by Don Zentz and Ajax McDonell. Doug Matthews lights up the piano, and Ricky Ravelo keeps the groove steady. Les DeMerle drives the beat on drums and adds vocals, joined by special guest Bill Wharton, the Sauce Boss, on guitar and vocals. The dance floor welcomes couples and friends for a lively, memory-making night of classic swing and live jazz.

VG Music Band takes the stage with the lively sounds of classic Latin dance music. Drawing from salsa, merengue, bolero, and bachata, the ensemble delivers enduring favorites that keep the floor moving. The performance is tailored for dedicated dancers, inviting guests to celebrate and reconnect with the rhythms they love. Tickets are on sale.
THE RANCH AT TRADERS HILL SADDLE SERIES 2026
Riders can compete in barrels and poles under a 4D format, with a saddle awarded to the divisional champion in every class. Added money starts with a guaranteed $250, increases to $500 at 50 riders, and reaches $1,000 at 75 riders. Entry fees are $40 for Open Barrels, $20 for Youth Barrels, $10 for Peewee Barrels, and $20 for Open Poles. Exhibitions are available for $5 per run. A membership of $50 is required per rider. A late-night jam of bebop, blues and more unfolds at Dizzy's Den in the Harbor Room at SpringHill Suites Amelia Island. Friday night headliner ticket holders receive access at no additional cost, and tickets are also available for those who missed the headliner concert but want to catch spontaneous jazz. Musicians relax after the main gig, creating a free-flowing set where surprises are common. Featured performer is jazz pianist Rory Ames, the 2026 Scholarship winner.
Mocama BeerTHE RANCH AT TRADERS HILL RIDE NIGHT 2026
Enjoy a barrel and pole competition presented as a buckle series that counts only yearlong points, welcoming riders across five divisions. Peewee participants are 6 and younger, Juniors are 7 to 12, Seniors are 13 to 18, Adults are 19 to 40, and Senior Adults are 41 and up. The arena opens for warmups before the show, concessions will be available, and the entry fee is $20. TR members earn points automatically, and the finals are limited to members.

The seventh annual Haunted Halloween Paddle takes place at Melton O Nelson Memorial Park on the dark waters of Lofton Creek. Costumes are encouraged as paddlers visit docks along the river to trick or treat, admire the decorations hosted along the way, and vote for the favorite display... all while keeping an eye out for the Swamp Ape. Kayak rentals are available, and participants may also bring their own kayak. Signups have historically sold out. All attendees must already know how to kayak because this is not a beginner outing. If someone in a group is new to paddling, the organizers can arrange a daytime session at a discounted rate.
