Backwater Saintz Live at Double Roads

Backwater Saintz brings a lively mix of blues, boogie, and bayou to Double Roads Tavern, weaving groove-driven storytelling with swampy rhythms and upbeat energy. The band shapes each set as a celebration of roots music, rich influences, and the joy of playing together. The lineup features vocalist and guitarist Victoria Humphrey, whose deep alto and rhythmic playing reflect blues and Delta flavors. A North PB County local active in the open mic scene since 2019, she draws on experiences from the Midwest, East Coast, and the South. Drummer Harley Galeano anchors the sound with a versatile touch, a University of North Florida music graduate whose credits include work with Joey Calderaio, Spider Cherry, and Cleveland Jazz Fusion. Singer and multi-instrumentalist Linda Kiley adds keys and mandolin, blending a classical background and the gospel traditions of Los Angeles in the 60s and 70s with inspirations from artists such as Aretha Franklin, Chick Corea, and Gregg Allman, plus a jam-ready feel shaped by tributes from Led Zeppelin to Pink Floyd. Guitarist and singer Matt Granat channels a Floridian love of blues and classic rock with a raw, guitar-forward style. Rounding out the group, singer Robert Voorhees plays guitar and upright bass, a songwriter from Toms River, NJ now based in Palm Beach Gardens, influenced by the sounds of Memphis, Nashville, and Austin and artists like Stevie Ray Vaughn, Billy Gibbons, and Hayes Carll. Double Roads Tavern offers a warm setting with food and crafted drinks, a comfortable place to relax while enjoying live music from a band steeped in Southern soul and timeless grooves.
