Wickham Park Farmers Market

Set beneath the Regional Pavilion at Wickham Park, the Brevard County Farmers Market centers on edible, locally produced foods and agricultural goods rather than crafts or art. It operates throughout the year except during holidays and hurricanes. Admission and parking are free. Most vendors accept cards, and bringing cash is helpful for those who do not. The market accepts SNAP. EBT cards can be swiped at the SNAP/FAB booth to receive tokens that can be spent with vendors, and every dollar in SNAP is matched with a dollar in Fresh Access Bucks with no cap. For example, a $25 EBT transaction provides $25 in orange SNAP tokens plus $25 in green FAB tokens, giving $50 to use on fresh, local food. Tokens never expire. The pavilion offers accessible parking, restrooms, and water fountains, and bus stops are located at the main entrances to the park.

A new arts and crafts class for children ages 3 to 7 centers on creating a playful bottle cap figure. Participants will stack, arrange, and string bottle caps to practice hand-eye coordination and spatial awareness while exploring colors, patterns, and design choices. Googly eyes, pipe cleaners, and other embellishments help each child personalize a character to take home. The experience supports creativity, fine motor skills, problem-solving, and following directions, and it offers a chance for parent and child to create together. All materials are provided. Registration is required. The session is limited to 15 child and parent pairs. The cost is $20 per child, with a 10% discount for members. Featuring Nana’s Kids Craft Club at Wee Warriors.
