This portion of the property has never been open to the public and will not be accessible again until the preserve expands, making this a unique opportunity to experience the site and pay tribute to Gladys before this chapter closes. While there, visitors can also spend time in the public areas of the preserve and appreciate its landscape, wildlife, and horticulture. This is an outdoor gathering, so come prepared for Florida weather with sunscreen, bug spray, comfortable closed toe shoes, water, and sun protection. Admission is free and open to the public.
