Once Upon a Skate — Enchanted Afternoon
Step into a fairy tale on wheels with an enchanted afternoon of roller skating. All ages are welcome, and costumes are encouraged, whether you feel like a pink unicorn, dragon, wizard, princess, fairy, or something else imaginative. Enjoy magical music, sparkly lights, and a playful, storybook atmosphere while you skate. Dressing up is optional if that is more your style. Admission is $10 and skate rentals are $4.

Participants connect with peers, exchange techniques and ideas, and share works in progress in a supportive setting. The focus is on creating together, learning from one another, and celebrating each artist’s work.

Set out aboard the Lillie for a laid-back cruise that brings together nature, local history, and easygoing storytelling. As the boat glides across the water, watch for area wildlife, including birds and sometimes alligators. The captain offers light commentary about St. Cloud and the Lillie, sharing stories about Central Florida figures such as Henry Flagler, Hamilton Disston, Captain Rufus Rose, and Captain Clay Johnson. The experience lasts about 90 minutes and includes a friendly crew, an onboard restroom, and a snack and drink bar. A wheelchair accessible ramp is available. Guests can borrow a wildlife booklet and binoculars, and purchase snacks, soft drinks, and adult beverages with cash or card, creating a relaxed Old Florida atmosphere on the water.
