Evans Market: Farm Fresh Edition

Evans Market: Farm Fresh Edition introduces a weekly series centered on regional growers at the Market Pavilion. Find in-season fruits and vegetables, honey produced locally, and other items sourced straight from the farm. The format is intentionally pared back, without add-ons like food trucks or live entertainment, so shoppers can meet growers face to face. The series gives producers an extra outlet to share the height-of-summer harvest with the community. Stock up for the week while supporting area agriculture by buying directly from the people who grow your food.

Marathon Training

Marathon Training presented by ASICS brings a supportive, structured approach to preparing for a big race through Fleet Feet’s coaching program. Getting ready for long miles takes more than running alone, it takes a smart plan, steady encouragement, and guidance that helps you stay consistent through both challenging and easy weeks. This program includes two coached workouts each week, options for beginners and intermediate runners, and a knowledgeable coaching staff that helps you train with purpose and work toward a confident finish. The program runs for 14 weeks and has no fee. Participants receive an ASICS long sleeve training tee and a race day singlet, plus a discount on full price ASICS footwear and special gear-up opportunities throughout the season. Expect activations from ASICS, Superfeet, and Fleet Feet teams, along with weekly newsletters offering tips, education, and resources. Daily plans cover more than running, with strength, cross training, and mobility built in, and ongoing support from experienced coaches and mentors.

Tuesday Pokémon League at Cool Stuff Games – Augusta

Cool Stuff Games hosts a weekly Pokémon League featuring a Standard format tournament run with Swiss pairings. Entry is $7. The number of best-of-one rounds and any top cut depend on attendance. Prizes are awarded per win as a booster pack or store credit, with distribution handled by the manager on duty while supplies last. Judges are available during matches to address rules questions, though they will not offer strategic advice. Trading is welcome, but buying or selling with anyone other than store staff is prohibited and may result in removal, a permanent ban, or police involvement. The store may limit the space used for trading and does not allow suitcases, handcarts, luggage carts, or similar items for transporting large amounts of trade stock. Please keep food and drinks off tables unless signage indicates otherwise, and refrain from horseplay, roughhousing, discourteous behavior, or foul language. Report any lost or unattended items to a staff member. For questions or concerns, contact the store via Facebook message, and share suggestions with the Tournament Organizer or a sales associate in the store.
