4th Annual Spring Tee Off - Golf Tournament

At Applewood Golf Course, the 4th Annual Spring Tee Off is dedicated to honoree Susan McBride of Augusta, who is fighting for her life after a February flu progressed to pneumonia. Centered on the sport that is woven into Augusta’s identity, the tournament rallies family, friends, and the broader community in support of her. The competition follows a 4-man scramble format. Enriched Air Nitrox Class

Looking to spend more time on the reef and less time waiting topside between dives? Training in enriched air nitrox can help. By reducing the percentage of nitrogen in your breathing mix, your body absorbs less nitrogen during a dive, which can lead to shorter off-gassing and a noticeable reduction in post-dive fatigue. This single evening in the classroom at Neptune Dive & Ski focuses on EAN dive planning and safety, with a strong focus on personally verifying the contents of your cylinder before entering the water. There is no pool work, and the session runs about two hours. To participate, you must be a certified Open Water Diver or currently enrolled in an OWD course. The program uses a home study format, so all online coursework needs to be finished before arrival. During the class, key concepts are reviewed, the final exam is completed, and then you will practice hands-on cylinder analysis. Class size is limited, and advance payment is required to receive the online access code and secure a seat.

Get Lit Night Tournament

Bartram Trail hosts a nighttime golf tournament that lights up the course for 18 holes played by two-person teams. The tournament uses a Swiss structure, with the number of rounds and any top cut determined by attendance, and it requires at least four players. It is a friendly place to try a new brew or fine-tune a proven list ahead of larger competitions. Each entry contributes $5 in store credit to the prize pool, with distribution handled by the manager on duty while supplies last. Augusta R/C Supercross launches its 2026 season with a Season Opener trophy race that leads off a three-event run. The lineup includes novice, vintage two-wheel-drive, two-wheel-drive modified buggy, four-wheel-drive modified buggy, four-wheel-drive SCT, sportsman e-buggy, pro e-buggy, nitro buggy, e-truggy, and the +40 e-buggy category. All classes feature three rounds of qualifying in a rocket round format followed by single-main races. Trophies are awarded to the top three in each class, and practice sessions are scheduled before racing begins.

Head into the jungle at Cool Stuff Games Augusta for an Unleashed Pre-Rift event built around sealed 1v1 play. Everyone receives a Pre-Rift Player Kit to construct a deck, complete with five Unleashed packs for support, then competes in three Swiss rounds that are best of three at 45 minutes each to determine the champion. Entry is $35 plus tax and includes the kit. Seating is limited to 16 players on a first come, in-person signup basis. Bridge Builder Communities Gala 2026

The second annual Bridge Builder Communities Gala brings the community together for an evening of purpose and celebration that benefits young adults transitioning out of foster care. A standout of the night is the silent auction, complemented by live bidding later in the program. Guests can look forward to live music, interactive games such as a wine ring toss, live artisan demonstrations, and a door art exhibit with an accompanying auction. The program also includes the presentation of a Community Leader Award, a seated three-course dinner with hors d’oeuvres, signature cocktails, and gift bags for attendees. Businesses and community partners may contribute items to the silent auction, with recognition available at tiered levels beginning at $50 and extending to $1,000 and above. Midsummer Night's Cabaret

Now in its third year, Midsummer Night's Cabaret transforms the night into a fae-inspired woodland showcase of music, dance, and theater. The King and Queen of the Fae host an immersive program featuring artists from around the world, with appearances by Saidi & Friends, Aberzombie, Dana, Cathy Benedetto, Knut Bjornson, Chelsea Stevenson, Josey Delauney, and others. Guests are welcome to arrive in faerie or other magical attire, and a costume contest during the evening awards the top look with a tarot reading from King Oberon. Set amid the greenery of the Back to Nature Garden Center in Augusta, Georgia, the experience blends the tranquility of nature with the energy of live performance for a night under the stars. Kids can come face to face with full-sized dinosaurs, dig for fossils, take part in raptor training sessions, and meet baby dinosaurs. The fun continues with bounce houses and dino scooters, along with other activities created for young dinosaur fans.

Movement is Medicine: Preparing Your Body for Birth

Gain confidence for birth in an interactive class that explains how your body functions and how your baby moves during labor. Explore straightforward, purposeful movement and positioning that can support progress, create more room for baby, and help labor feel more manageable. Rather than memorizing poses, practice working with your body and responding to what you feel. Attend with a support person and rehearse techniques together so you both leave with practical tools you can use. The third annual IGNITE WELLNESS: BLAZE offers a transformative experience centered on spiritual, mental, and physical growth. Grounded in faith and the Holy Spirit, it forms part of a movement that equips women and men to pursue wellness and purpose. GROVETOWN PICKLE FEST

The inaugural Pickle Fest arrives in Grovetown, Georgia, celebrating all things pickled. The event features savory foods, imaginative pickle inspired desserts, and a range of crafts, all highlighting tangy flavors and playful pickle themes.

Matagot's School of Stagecraft and Puppetry 2026

A hands-on theatre camp at Le Chat Noir welcomes two age groups, 8 to 12 and 13 to 16, with 20 spots available for each. Tracks include puppetry with Ben Snead, where students explore shadow, rod, hand, and Bunraku styles and learn to design, operate, and perform with their creations. Stagecraft with Krys Bailey introduces a wide range of technical theatre and performance art, covering foundational stagecraft and effects like air-powered rigs, injury makeup, the crankie, and age-appropriate goo effects, along with introductory improv and stage combat. Stagecraft and sideshow with Hewie Waymer, a science teacher and fire performer, focuses on stage management, poi, and collaborative story building. The day begins with a theatre assembly that previews what is ahead, followed by class blocks, lunch brought from home with time for group work, more classes, and a final collaborative session before pick-up. A recital at the end of the week highlights what participants created together. Registration is $220 and secures a spot; required forms will be sent to complete and return. Students should wear closed-toe shoes and clothing that can get messy and allow easy movement. Light homework is part of the experience, and a list of suggested school-style supplies will be provided with the registration materials. Refunds are available in full if canceled more than two weeks before the start, at 50 percent if canceled under two weeks, and are not available within three days of the start.

2026 Kids Summer Camp

Campers take part in an active summer program at Built By Martial Arts. The camp is open to the general public starting at age six and to current Built By Martial Arts members of any age. Dress for movement in athletic clothing with closed toe shoes, and consider a light jacket. Pack a change of clothes in case of spills, along with a lunch. There are three snack breaks, so bring snacks and drinks. Drinks are also available for purchase on site, and a water fountain is available. Please leave valuables, electronics, cards, and similar items at home, as the host is not responsible for lost or stolen property.

Adventure Camp: Science & Art Week

A summer science and art themed week at Adventure Camp for kids ages 6 through 11. The program is organized as a weeklong day camp, and no scouting membership is needed to participate.

Bingo and Treats Social

This activity brings bingo and treats to veterans who are currently inpatient at the facility. A small team of three to four volunteers is requested to help with the event and spend time socializing with the veterans. Advance coordination is required, and walk-ins cannot be accommodated.

Retro Concert Series - Departure: The Journey Tribute + ZZ Top Notch

As part of the Retro Concert Series, Columbia County Performing Arts Center hosts a performance featuring Departure and ZZ Top Notch. For more than 17 years, Departure has built a national reputation for capturing Journey’s sound and onstage energy, with five seasoned musicians delivering a concert style show centered on the songs fans know. Jones’s A Reckoning Up Black Cat Hollow, a crime thriller following insurance salesman Jack Spinks, whose attempt to aid a young woman on a rural road leads to a crash and thrusts him into danger as he is pursued by her enigmatic followers. As Jack struggles to survive, he confronts long-buried connections from his own past that may reveal what is really happening. A two-day, hands-on retreat created for people living with neurological conditions and their care partners. The program includes movement sessions, practical workshops, and opportunities to connect with community resources, all aimed at building strength, confidence, and greater independence in everyday life. Participants can discover new strategies, stay active, and connect with others on a similar journey in a supportive setting that encourages learning, movement, and growth.

America Turns 250! Fireworks Viewing from the River

Commemorate America’s 250th with a paddle on the Savannah River designed for spectacular fireworks viewing. Participants launch from Fifth Street Marina and make their way to a choice vantage point to watch Augusta’s display illuminate the downtown skyline from the water. The experience is beginner friendly, runs about 1.5 hours, and is $59 per person. Check in at the Fifth Street Marina Gift Shop before getting on the water.

Charles White Masterclass - Drawing Social Consciousness with Ray Sturkey

Charles White Masterclass with Ray Sturkey: A Two Week intensive for high school students This two-week master class introduces high school art students (9th-12th) to the technical mastery and social vision of Charles White (1918-1979), one of America’s draftsmen and a pivotal figure in 20th century social realism. Through intensive study of charcoal and Wolff Carbon Pencil techniques, students will develop advanced drawing skills while exploring art’s power to affirm human dignity and address social consciousness.
