This bare bones run and walk welcomes participants of all ages and is stroller, dog, and kid friendly. Entry is $20 for either distance and includes a medal, and a virtual option is available for $25 with a medal. Separate starts are planned for the 10k and the 5k. Registration and bib pick-up are available at the start location before the race. Guests are welcome to browse, take photos, ask questions, and connect with the community even if they are not planning to bring home a new animal. General admission purchased in advance is $12 for adults and $5 for children ages 7 to 12, with children 6 and under admitted free. The setup includes separate parking lots, one designated for vendors and show vehicles and another for spectators, and the location is across the street from the Downtown VA Hospital. Pricing is $15 for pre-registered cars and swap meet entries, $20 for day-of car entries, and $50 for vendors. A rain date will be determined if needed. Additional details will be announced.
Tutus for Cancer Awareness 5K
Celebrate cancer awareness with a festive 5K run or a 1 mile walk. Participants who sport tutus may receive an extra participation award.
