Recycle unwanted electronics to support wildlife and wild places. Zoo Atlanta is participating in the Gorillas on the Line... Answer the Call campaign, collecting cell phones and other small devices for responsible recycling with partner ecocell. Proceeds from recycled items benefit the Association of Zoos and Aquariums Gorilla SAFE Program. Small electronics are accepted in any condition, including cell phones, smartphones, iPads, iPods, tablets, GPS units, smartwatches, digital cameras, and the cords and cables that go with them. Larger electronics are handled by partner Prime Asset Recovery at the circle drive outside Savanna Hall. These can be turned in in any condition, with no appliances accepted. Items include LCD or LED monitors, desktops, laptops, keyboards and mice, servers, networking hardware, circuit boards, RAM, CPUs, wires and cables, hard drives, printers, copiers, projectors, phones, POS systems, DVD players, scanners, UPS devices, stereo equipment, and flat screen TVs up to 48 inches.
