The Surf King Surfwear presents a celebration of surf music at the new location, The Garden Club at Wild Heaven West End. The Amphibian Foundation offers a Venomous Competency Training program in Atlanta for students who have completed the Level I Venomous Training & Certification Course. Led by Marjan, the foundation’s Venomous Programs Coordinator, this every-other-month session focuses on refining technique and building confidence with the methods introduced in the introductory course. Participants begin with a lecture on snakebite management, then refresh skills with non-venomous snakes before moving into supervised training with venomous species after a break. Instruction emphasizes individualized, hands-on guidance, safe handling practices for both non-venomous and venomous snakes, the life history, toxinology, and ecology of native venomous reptiles, emergency field care for envenomation, and approaches to relocation. His community, Da Kinfolks, helps decide where he heads next, and he follows their lead.

Eddie's Attic presents the Randall Bramblett Band, led by an artist who has spent decades shaping a wide-ranging Southern approach to American roots music. Bramblett’s path includes touring with the Gregg Allman Band, joining Sea Level with Chuck Leavell, recording and touring with Cowboy, and 16 years in Steve Winwood’s band. His songs have been covered by Bonnie Raitt, The Blind Boys of Alabama, Delbert McClinton and more. He has served as horn leader for Widespread Panic and also tours with Marc Cohn. In 2023, Bettye LaVette released an entire album of his songs that received a Grammy nomination. As a frontman, he brings thirteen albums of what he calls Modern Roots Music. Living in Athens, Georgia and recognized on the Athens Walk of Fame, he continues to earn respect from musicians, critics, DJs and fans. This appearance showcases that body of work at Eddie's Attic.

Guster performs with the Atlanta Symphony Orchestra, presenting a distinct set at each show. Setlists change from performance to performance, drawing on different corners of the band’s catalog. The group released Ooh La La in 2024 and recently marked three decades together, a span that includes Billboard-charting songs, collaborations with Steve Lillywhite and Richard Swift, and the launch of their own music festival. Formed in Somerville, Massachusetts, they are known for songs like "Amsterdam," "Satellite," and "Do You Love Me," and for a devoted following built through steady touring and a welcoming live atmosphere. Outside the band, singer Ryan Miller composes for film and television. Guitarist and singer Adam Gardner leads REVERB, a nonprofit focused on environmentally responsible touring. Atlanta Ballet 2 brings the beloved tale of Cinderella to life through graceful movement, vivid characters, elegant costumes, and grand stagecraft. Choreographed by Bruce Wells, this family-focused production includes narration that helps young audiences follow the story. It is recommended for ages 4 and older. Part of Atlanta Ballet’s Family Ballets, the experience is concise and child friendly, told through dance and set to classical music. The performance runs 1 hour and 15 minutes and includes a 20 minute intermission.

Fresh from her fifth full-length album, All My Faith, she embraces alt-country and indie-folk with a focus on raw immediacy rather than polish. Her songs travel from wide open vistas to everyday kitchens, from icy lakes to highway truck stops, creating a vivid tapestry of joy, sorrow, and unflinching candor. Tales range from hungover bachelorettes at the Nashville airport to clear-eyed reflections on the confines of our own adaptations, all carried by grounded confidence and a belief in the transformative power of song. Centering self-acceptance in both her writing and singing, she recorded the album with complete trust in the musicians and no edits, which sparked an exhilarating atmosphere in the studio. The result is responsive, uninhibited playing that serves the emotion at every turn. At Atlanta Symphony Hall LIVE, The Rocky Horror Picture Show: Spooktacular Tour presents the full unedited film on the big screen alongside a live shadow cast. The original Brad Majors, Barry Bostwick, and Columbia, Nell Campbell, are featured, with limited VIP tickets that include a meet and greet with both. Expect audience participation, a lively costume contest, and moments like dancing to the Time Warp. A local shadow cast performs scenes on stage while the movie plays, with LDOD, Atlanta’s longest running Rocky Horror cast, taking part. The quartet features guitarist Oliver Wood of The Wood Brothers, bassist Ted Pecchio with credits that include Colonel Bruce Hampton and Doyle Bramhall, drummer Mark Raudabaugh known for work with Sierra Hull, Jim Lauderdale, and Fred Wesley, and Matt Glassmeyer from the New York and Nashville improv communities performing on his one-of-a-kind Wurlitzer, heard with Meadownoise, Lambchop, Billy Martin, and Aqua Teen Hunger Force. Their first album on Royal Potato Family Records captures seven spontaneous pieces recorded entirely to analog tape, even preserving the moment when the reel cuts off partway through the closing track. The music is created in real time with no prewritten plans or concepts... and despite the name, there is no accordion.

A seasoned performer, she has played standards on cruise ships, appeared at theme parks, and majored in theater, building the easy confidence she brings to the stage. That live presence has led to collaborations with Vulfpeck and tour support for Lake Street Dive and Jensen McRae.

The Atlanta Symphony Orchestra presents Disney’s Hocus Pocus with John Debney’s score performed live in sync with the film under the baton of conductor Stuart Chafetz. Debney, an Emmy winner and GRAMMY nominee, composed the music for this Halloween comedy. In present day Salem, the Sanderson sisters, witches from the seventeenth century, are resurrected on Halloween and attempt to secure immortality by stealing the life force of children. Their scheme is challenged by three clever kids and Thackery Binx, a boy cursed long ago to live as a cat. Directed by Kenny Ortega and released in 1993, the film features Bette Midler as Winifred, Sarah Jessica Parker as Sarah, Kathy Najimy as Mary, Omri Katz as Max, Thora Birch as Dani, and Vinessa Shaw as Allison. His recent album Writing On The Wall, produced by Tony Braunagel with Jeff Paris as co-producer, reflects his road-honed chemistry across memorable originals and reimagined classics, and includes guest appearances by Lee Roy Parnell and Ronnie Baker Brooks. CONjuration is a three day, fan organized celebration of fantasy and fandom where lovers of Harry Potter, The Lord of the Rings, D&D, mythology, and whimsical worlds gather for a weekend of hands on fun. Look for panels and workshops that dig into favorite stories, cosplay meetups with photo opportunities, tabletop gaming alongside live game shows and other interactive activities, plus music, performances, and creative discussions. Potion themed demonstrations and classes, the popular Broom Ride experience, and plenty of surprises round out the festivities. The Amphibian Foundation, in partnership with The Rattlesnake Conservancy, presents a two day Venomous Handling and Certification Program designed for land managers, environmental consultants, first responders, zoo professionals, herpetology enthusiasts, photographers, and private citizens who want to learn to handle and relocate venomous reptiles safely. Training follows TRC techniques and protocols, and under these practices there have been no venomous snakebite incidents among TRC or Amphibian Foundation staff or students. The program emphasizes best practices in safety, husbandry, and established procedures for working with venomous reptiles, and the organizers note that their Level 1 course is a leading program in the United States with more than 100 students trained. Participants receive individualized, hands on instruction from professional instructors, learn methods for handling both non-venomous and venomous snakes, explore the life history, toxinology, and ecology of native venomous species, review emergency field care for envenomation, and practice effective relocation techniques.

Noah Gundersen brings the Rites of Spring US Tour to Eddie’s Attic. Since 2014 he has released six studio albums along with EPs and singles, building a global following and a reputation for live performances that feel both personal and transcendent. Centered around his forthcoming seventh album, Rites of Spring, this stop highlights an evolving sound that remains unmistakably his.

Murray Attaway, Peter Holsapple, and Don Dixon share the stage at Eddie's Attic in a trio performance. Attaway, the voice and songwriter behind Guadalcanal Diary, returned with Tense Music Plays, his first solo release since In Thrall, created largely in his home studio with producer and engineer Mark Williams for Moon Ray Sound. The album follows four Elektra releases with Guadalcanal Diary that helped shape Georgia’s alternative rock in the 1980s, and it earned warm critical notice, appearing on multiple year-end best-of lists. Peter Holsapple arrives on the heels of his third solo album The Face of 68, praised by outlets including MOJO and 13th Floor, with the song That Kind of Guy singled out by Variety. He has toured extensively, from solo shows with regional bands to an appearance on the Mountain Stage Radio Show, and he is known for sets that span songs from The dB’s and Continental Drifters alongside his newest material, marked by memorable melodies and intelligent wordplay. Don Dixon brings a deep resume as a songwriter, singer, musician, and producer. A founding member of Arrogance, he has released numerous solo albums including the minor MTV hit Praying Mantis and has had his songs recorded by artists ranging from Joe Cocker to Hootie and the Blowfish. His co-writing partners include Caitlin Cary, Marshall Crenshaw, Counting Crows, and others. On the road he has toured steadily, often with Marti Jones, and has long served as bassist with Mary Chapin Carpenter. In the studio his production credits reach from The Smithereens, Gin Blossoms, and R.E.M. with Mitch Easter to Marshall Crenshaw, James McMurtry, Kim Carnes, John Ellison with the Carpenter Ants, and newer acts such as She Returns From War and Secret Monkey Weekend. Together these three artists bring decades of songwriting, production, and stage experience to Eddie's Attic.

The Peter Karp Band marks the release of Jersey Town with a live celebration at Eddie's Attic. The lineup features guitarist Mark Johnson, known for his time with the Atlanta band Delta Moon. Jersey Town salutes New Jersey, where Peter Karp sharpened his storytelling and guitar voice, delivering eleven tracks inspired by years of night-after-night gigs in bars along the New Jersey Turnpike and the characters, real and imagined, found there. Karp plays electric resonator slide and acoustic guitar, harmonica, and piano, channeling clever wordplay into music that swings from relentless and tough to jubilant and sly. His path includes an early national boost through recording and touring with Mick Taylor, a stint with Blind Pig Records, and several releases, including two with Sue Foley, that reached the top of the Blues and Billboard charts. Across it all, he is recognized for heartfelt songwriting supported by skilled musicians and a sound shaped by New Jersey swamps and southern Alabama roots.

XChange Open Mic offers a welcoming stage for poets, comedians, musicians, storytellers, and other multi-genre creatives to share original work. Each performer receives about five to seven minutes, with a little flexibility, to connect with a supportive crowd. Hosted by Theresa Davis and presented in partnership with Fulton Institute, this gathering takes place at the Paul Robeson Theater. On-site sign-ups are available. This edition focuses on open sharing only, with no slam competition. Admission is $10 in advance or $15 at the door. It brings performers and listeners together as poetry, comedy, music, and storytelling share a single stage.

Atlanta Symphony Hall LIVE hosts a 40th anniversary screening of Little Shop of Horrors, with the original Audrey, Ellen Greene, serving as host. Greene first brought Audrey to life on stage and later starred in the film, making this a rare appearance. The 1986 cult favorite directed by Frank Oz follows Seymour Krelborn, a shy florist who raises Audrey II, a carnivorous plant whose growing fame for the Skid Row shop comes at a deadly price. Mike Farris and Barry Waldrep bring an evening of roots-rich music to Eddie’s Attic, weaving soulful rock, gospel spirit, bluegrass drive, and Southern rock grit. Farris, a GRAMMY, Americana Association, and Dove Award winner with six solo albums since 2001 and a founding member of The Screamin’ Cheetah Wheelies, recorded his album The Sound of Muscle Shoals at the famed Fame Studios in Alabama. Collaborating with Muscle Shoals greats including Clayton Ivey on keys, guitarists Will McFarlane, Kelvin Holly, and Wes Sheffield, Jimbo Hart on bass, and Justin Holder on drums, and working with executive producer Rodney Hall, the music draws on the classic Shoals tradition while showcasing a voice that balances Saturday-night electricity with Sunday-morning grace. Waldrep, known for pushing the boundaries of bluegrass and Southern rock, traces his musical roots to the Carter Family and Flatt and Scruggs. He often shares the stage with artists such as Jimmy Hall, Radney Foster, Mike Farris, and John Berry, or leads his own band, guided by a dedication to playing with good people and making good music.

Everyone is welcome, from seasoned strategists and devoted word fans to first-time players of any age. Friendly games unfold alongside chats and connections, keeping the emphasis on curiosity, learning, and a sense of belonging rather than the scoreboard. With images all around us, learning to make them with purpose is a valuable skill. This three-class photography series for ages 11 to 18 helps students move beyond snapshots to explore how pictures convey meaning, emotion, and story. Participants discover that their perspective matters and learn how to share it thoughtfully through the lens. By the end, they gain more than a collection of photos... they develop a clearer way of seeing the world. Tuition is $75. No experience is needed. The program meets students where they are and supports growth at every level. Students are expected to attend all sessions and will complete brief daily check-ins. Light snacks and all supplies are provided. Please bring a packed lunch each day, along with a smartphone or camera for taking photos. A charger is recommended. Bring two or three small personal objects for storytelling activities, plus plenty of curiosity and a willingness to explore.
