Pokémon Summer Mid Year Celebration
Prime Time Gaming hosts a Ditto-format celebration where each participant receives six Perfect Order booster packs and builds a 40-card deck using what they open. Energy is Rainbow Energy, games use four Prize cards, and deck contents cannot be changed once the first round begins. Standard gameplay rules apply. The tournament runs as Swiss, best of one, for three rounds. Entry is $30, and capacity is limited to 20 players. Digital participation rewards are delivered to each player’s Pokémon Trainer Central email. The special Ditto rule allows a player, once per turn before attacking, to place a Ditto marker on a Basic Pokémon that does not have a Rule Box to grant it the Evolutionary Advantage Ability. With this Ability, the chosen Pokémon can evolve from a Stage 1 or Stage 2 card from hand, with normal restrictions in place. It cannot be used on a player’s first turn or on the turn that Pokémon entered play. Evolving directly to a Stage 2 ends the turn, and each Pokémon can use Evolutionary Advantage only once per game. Prizes are awarded as one prize pack for each match win. A bonus raffle will award a Pokémon Mid‑Year Celebrations playmat featuring Chikorita, Totodile, and Tepig, with event participation required for entry.
