MTG Marvel Super Heroes Commander Party
Prime Time Gaming sets the stage for a Marvel Super Heroes themed Commander showdown where the villains have fallen, the Infinity Stones are secured, and a champion will be decided in a cosmic clash. Entry is $7, and every participant receives an MTG pack, with special prizes awarded to players who finish with the most points. The event features two rounds of play at 75 minutes each. Players must use the same deck for both rounds, no proxies are permitted, and decisions made during games are final. Special rules add a heroic twist. Each participant selects a Super Hero card that begins in the command zone. Every Super Hero has two abilities. The first remains active at all times, while the infinity ability turns on once that card has three infinity counters. A Wizards ID is used for participation in official Wizards of the Coast tournaments and can be created with the Companion app. Players who already have one will use the email linked to their ID or their Arena account.

Girl Scouts of Historic Georgia presents the annual More Than Cookies fundraiser at Fall Line Brewing Co. Guests can enjoy a beer flight tasting, hearty hors d’oeuvres, raffle prizes, and live music. Each ticket provides a pairing of four Fall Line craft beers with four Girl Scout Cookies, along with generous hors d’oeuvres, and additional cookies will be available for purchase. Attendees can also enter raffles for prizes contributed by community partners and local businesses. Proceeds benefit Girl Scouts of Historic Georgia, supporting experiences that help girls discover new interests and pursue their goals.

At Capricorn Sound Studios and Museum, Jim Lauderdale showcases the American roots sound that has defined his career. A 2025 inductee into the Nashville Songwriters Hall of Fame, he has earned two Grammys in the Best Bluegrass Album category and received the Americana Music Association’s Lifetime Achievement Award in 2016. His discography continues in 2026 with Country Super Hits Volume 2 and the bluegrass collection The Birds Know. Since the 1991 release of Planet of Love, his songs have been recorded by George Strait, Patty Loveless, George Jones, the Chicks, Old Crow Medicine Show, Lucinda Williams, Charley Crockett, Dave Edmunds and Solomon Burke. His collaborations include a six-album partnership with Robert Hunter and work with Buddy Miller, Elvis Costello, Donna the Buffalo, North Mississippi Allstars, Po’ Ramblin’ Boys and Ralph Stanley. His catalog connects country, bluegrass and Americana.
