Prime Time Gaming sets the stage for a Marvel Super Heroes themed Commander showdown where the villains have fallen, the Infinity Stones are secured, and a champion will be decided in a cosmic clash. Entry is $7, and every participant receives an MTG pack, with special prizes awarded to players who finish with the most points. The event features two rounds of play at 75 minutes each. Players must use the same deck for both rounds, no proxies are permitted, and decisions made during games are final. Special rules add a heroic twist. Each participant selects a Super Hero card that begins in the command zone. Every Super Hero has two abilities. The first remains active at all times, while the infinity ability turns on once that card has three infinity counters. A Wizards ID is used for participation in official Wizards of the Coast tournaments and can be created with the Companion app. Players who already have one will use the email linked to their ID or their Arena account.

Macon Music Revue is a preservation-minded five-piece that celebrates the music tied to its namesake city, drawing from a songbook of more than 140 tunes. The group honors hometown legends like Little Richard and Otis Redding and dives into the storied output of Capricorn Records, the Macon label and studio that between 1969 and 1979 produced nine platinum and 17 gold albums for artists such as The Allman Brothers Band, The Marshall Tucker Band, Charlie Daniels Band, Wet Willie, Sea Level, Swamp Dogg, and Elvin Bishop. They also put their own spin on songs by James Brown, whose early career took flight in Macon, Atlanta Rhythm Section, whose late singer Ronnie Hammond was a Macon native, and R.E.M., whose Bill Berry and Mike Mills forged an early partnership while attending Northeast High School. Raised on the city’s blend of soul and Southern rock, the members bring that heritage to the stage. Charles Davis delivers powerful vocals shaped by gospel and musical theater, Dustin McCook supplies expressive blues and slide guitar, and Ethan Hamlin adds organ and piano with a classically trained touch influenced by Gregg Allman and Chuck Leavell. A People’s Choice Princess is recognized in every division through online voting, with each vote costing $1. There is no talent requirement, and only two outfits are suggested.
