At checkout you can choose one or two balls of clay, and each ball is enough for a single finished piece. Clay work can be messy, and trimming long nails helps make handling the clay easier. Class size is limited to two participants. For groups larger than two, the Pottery Wheel Date Night option accommodates up to four people who take turns at the wheel. A summer baton twirling clinic offers two options in the gym behind Macon Trinity Church of the Nazarene, with a choice between a full-day session and a shorter mini session. The day clinic costs $100 and welcomes all ages, from first-time participants to advanced twirlers. Instruction covers one to three baton skills along with field tricks. Lunch includes pizza with fruit such as bananas and mandarins, and drinks include water and soda. Participants are encouraged to bring their own water. The mini clinic costs $35 and is geared toward ages 4 to 8 at the no experience to novice level. It focuses on foundational technique using one and two batons. Water is available, and attendees should bring their own water since lunch is not provided. Coaching is led by accomplished collegiate feature twirlers. Kylee Saltsman represents Florida State University, is a USTA collegiate national champion, has been on Team USA multiple times, is a multi-time world medalist, and earned junior world gold in two baton in 2019. Sarah Parker is in her third year as a feature twirler at Kennesaw State University and has competed since early childhood. Elena Tovar is in her third year as a feature twirler at Georgia Tech and holds numerous titles, including the 2025 College Miss Majorette honor. Registration and payment are requested in advance, with options to pay via Cash App, Venmo, or PayPal. Cash is accepted on site with registration completed beforehand.

A four-week, beginner-friendly wheel throwing course designed for hands-on learning in a supportive, small-group setting with a maximum of two participants per class. It welcomes those brand new to the wheel as well as anyone looking to build on a little prior experience. An experienced instructor tailors each session to individual goals, whether the focus is bowls, cylinders, plates, or vases, helping participants gain confidence and essential skills in a relaxed, creative environment. The series begins with an introduction to clay preparation, a demonstration aligned with each student’s interests, and time at the wheel to create two to three pieces that are saved for future trimming. The second session teaches trimming techniques and explores surface decoration based on personal design preferences. The third meeting returns to throwing with new work and targeted practice to refine technique. The final class covers trimming the latest pieces and an introduction to glazing to prepare work for its final firing. Glazing is scheduled separately after the pieces are bisque fired. Included are four weeks of personalized instruction for up to two students per class, opportunities to create and refine multiple pieces with trimming and decoration, all materials and firings, and a separate glazing session.
