New Life Technology will be on site to accept items such as printers, laptops, servers, modems, phones, routers and other A/V equipment, along with assorted outdated gadgets. Flat screen TVs carry a $20 disposal fee per unit. Drop off is simple... load items into a vehicle, drive to the museum entrance, and the New Life Technology team will handle the unloading. American Red Cross First Aid, CPR and AED Training

Learn practical first aid, CPR, and AED skills in an open-to-the-public class at Gruvn Yoga. Designed for individuals aged 12 and older, this small-group training is limited to 12 participants to support focused, hands-on practice. The course follows a blended learning format that combines online coursework with an in-person skills session, and the online portion must be completed beforehand. Instruction covers how to recognize and respond to sudden illness and injury, as well as breathing and cardiac emergencies. Participants who successfully complete all requirements receive a digital American Red Cross certification that is valid for two years and meets OSHA workplace standards and other regulatory requirements.

No Limits Pickleball Challenge

The No Limits Pickleball Challenge brings a community fundraiser to Sandy Springs Racquet Center in support of the Center for Movement Challenges. Players from the Atlanta area at levels 2.5 through 4+ will compete in doubles using a round robin format, with medals awarded to high performers. Participants can choose between two ways to play. In the Individual Player Session, players register on their own and rotate partners, with awards based on total wins and points. In the Team Session, pre-registered doubles pairs compete together throughout, with medals for teams earning the most wins and points. Registration options include Individual Player Registration for $50, Team Member Registration for $50, or a combined Individual plus Team option for $70. Additional donations to support CFMC are welcome. River Canoe Trips | Spring

It suits both first-time paddlers and those looking to reconnect with a favorite river. Canoes and all necessary gear are provided. Open to ages 8 and up. Matildas brings its listening room series to The Spotlight stage at North Point Mall for the rescheduled final night, showcasing Americana roots in a relaxed indoor setting. The evening features three local singer songwriters: Betsy Franck, a soulful Americana blues vocalist, guitarist, and songwriter, Claire Campbell, a founding member of the longtime folk family band Hope For Agoldensummer, and Jesse Williams, a singer, songwriter, and guitarist with roots in blues and soul. The experience echoes the easygoing vibe of Matildas Under the Pines while moving everything inside, with seating and tables arranged and light eats offered, plus parking available. BBQ eats from Never Enough Thyme will be on hand, and a cash bar will serve signature cocktails, mocktails, wine, and beer. Prana + Pendulum Playshop

That sensation is energy, prana, the life force. Kember, an energy work practitioner who has worked with the chakras and the subtle body for more than a decade, leads an interactive playshop at Lift Yoga (Alpharetta). Participants receive a crystal pendulum to keep and learn how to use this simple yet powerful tool to observe and connect with the movement of energy. The group explores the seven main chakras and gently practices sensing, seeing, and working with energy in a playful, curious way.

Earth Day Artist Swap

Refresh your studio and keep usable materials in circulation at The Art Center’s Earth Day Artist Swap, presented alongside the Upcycled exhibition. This community exchange invites artists to share gently used supplies with no buying or haggling involved. Bring a reusable bag, leave items you no longer need, and take home the tools and materials that inspire your next project. Donations may include small organizing containers such as bins or drawer units, studio tools like easels and clay tools, and display equipment for art shows. Large, heavy furniture is not accepted. If you have something substantial like a vendor tent to pass along, you may leave information about it instead. For guidance on what is welcome, refer to Scraplanta’s donation guidelines. While visiting, you can also look into Scraplanta’s recycled papermaking workshop for ages 9 and up, which teaches how to turn old junk mail into handmade paper. Riftbound April Summoner Skirmish brings a full competitive atmosphere to Battle & Brew Sandy Springs. Players arrive with their best constructed decks and compete through Swiss rounds that lead into a top cut. Expect tight decision making, clutch draws, and the kind of table talk and mind games that define a high energy TCG setting. Participation includes exclusive promo items, top cut contenders earn additional rewards, and the champion walks away with bragging rights along with a step toward bigger competitive play. Between rounds, there is ample space to play, trade, and theorycraft, and the venue keeps food and drinks available throughout the event.

PINTS FOR PUPS

At Six Bridges Brewing, attendees can enjoy pints while meeting foster dogs and browsing rescue merchandise, with plenty of opportunities for slobbery puppy kisses. A portion of beer sales will benefit the rescue, and pup cups will be on hand for all dogs attending. The brewery grew from a father and son’s ambition to build a craft operation, bringing together Charles’s Georgia Tech chemical engineering background and homebrewing with Clay’s brewing experience in Colorado and his work as a fireman after returning to north Georgia. Their shared passion led to the first craft brewery in Johns Creek and Crabapple, Georgia.

The Tavern at Roswell Junction is hosting its first Oyster Crawfish Festival. Tickets include entry and entertainment, and food and beverages may be purchased. There will be live music, as well as a live DJ. Crawfish platters with shrimp, new potatoes, and corn will be available until they sell out. ART- ANIMALS IN CUBISM ART AND MIXED MEDIA ART with Shreya - Alpharetta, GA 2026

This class introduces children ages 6-10 to cubism, an art movement created in Paris by Pablo Picasso and Georges Braque. Students will learn to break down objects and animals into geometric shapes like cubes, spheres, and cones. They will use bold colors or monochromatic tones, and incorporate collage and magazine clippings to explore how we perceive reality. The instructor will provide supplies, but there is a $10 supply fee payable to the instructor at the first class.

75th Anniversary Iron Pour

Celebrate the 75th anniversary of Red Top Mountain with a live iron pour experience, a community gathering, and a lakeside atmosphere. There will be music at the cabin, tours of Vaughn Cabin, and access to the blacksmith shop before the pour begins. Food trucks will be available and there will be sunset views by the lake. You can also create your own cast piece during the event, scratch blocks will be available for reservation.

The Acworth Arts Alliance and the City of Acworth are partnering to present Live at Logan Farm Park, an annual fundraiser featuring a free concert. Now in its 32nd year, Lauren’s Run & Picnic brings together families, schools, and companies to form teams that walk and run in support of CURE Childhood Cancer. Over time, participants have helped raise more than $6.2 million for lifesaving pediatric cancer research. The event is presented by AutoNation. The day includes race day registration with number pickup, a 5K run followed by awards, a 2K fun run and walk, and a Tot Trot for children ages 4 and under. Designed for preschoolers and their caregivers, this weekly Kids Club at Halcyon is free and requires no registration. Themes and activity details are shared on the event’s Facebook page and in Instagram stories. A parent or guardian must stay with each child for the duration. Activities are weather dependent. Enjoy a storytime that includes stories and songs. An adult caregiver must accompany children. All ages are welcome, but the event is perfect for ages 2 through 5. There is no need to register. You can learn more about the 1000 Books Before Kindergarten Program, and those who attend can speak with the Youth Service Librarian during the storytime. Homeschool high school students step into the role of forensic investigators in a hands-on lab course led by Ashley Blocker, BSc. A live DJ will keep the dance floor lively with favorites for both generations, and friendly dance contests and musical games add to the fun. Every boy receives a keepsake photo and a goody bag. The dress code is semi-formal. Tickets are $40 for one mother and son, with each additional son at $10. A reserved table option is available for $200, which includes admission for up to eight guests, equal to four mother son pairs, and guarantees a dedicated table for the entire event. One person should purchase the reserved table on behalf of the group and provide the names of all attendees afterward. Individual tickets are not required for guests covered by a reserved table purchase. Kate is due any day, Sally is keeping out of sight after Paul’s latest retreat from the altar, Mother Superior drifts off during scenes, and the sisters’ celebrated wine keeps getting mixed up with the grape juice. With each mishap leading to another, the mix-ups pile up. This sequel to Drinking Habits brings the familiar characters back for a stage-within-a-stage rescue effort.

THE DUO COMP - Atlanta

At The Forge Roswell, this inaugural team competition brings Girls Gone Rx and Guys Gone Rx together for a coed throwdown. Teams of four compete as two male-female pairs across four workouts, with divisions for Rx, BAM, and Masters 40+. A portion of event proceeds supports the Compete for a Cure Foundation, a breast cancer charity, and each team can set up a fundraising page, with fundraising contributing to the overall event score.

ART- ART- BIG ARTIST, LITTLE ARTIST Clay Flower Dish

Rockin' for Rescue - 10th Anniversary Celebration!

BarkVille Dog Rescue marks 10 years and more than 3,000 dogs rescued with Rockin’ for Rescue at the Mark Burkhalter Amphitheater at New Town Park. Jewelry & Accessories Camp

Campers dive into jewelry and accessory design, crafting original pieces with a wide range of materials. Across the week, participants explore beads, charms, glass accents, clay, fabric, and other mixed media while learning simple ways to personalize each item through color, texture, and individual style. Daily sessions introduce new supplies and techniques, leading to finished wearable pieces and small accessories that each camper plans and assembles. No prior experience is required, and all materials are provided. Open to ages 8 to 12, with everyone leaving with a collection of handmade items to wear or share.

2026 Atlanta Fall Golf Tournament

This golf tournament at Country Club of Roswell Main includes registration perks such as greens fees and a cart, a continental-style breakfast, range practice balls, and a bag of goodies. Neuro-vana: Adaptive Rock Band for Teens/Adults with Disabilities

Neuro-vana is an inclusive, adaptive rock band experience for teens and adults with disabilities. Participants choose an instrument and learn the foundations of playing together as a group, collaborate to pick two cover songs, and build toward a showcase performance at the end of summer. No prior experience is required. Open to ages 12 and up, welcoming all disabilities and all communication preferences. Making music together can support social skills, communication, and motor functioning. The program fee is $250, and most support funding is accepted.

Beat It! Bucket Drumming Class for Teens/Adults with Disabilities

This bucket drumming social group offers teens and young adults with disabilities a supportive place to make music with peers and express themselves through rhythm. Led by a Board Certified music therapist and percussionist, participants build percussion skills that strengthen musicality and also support social interaction, communication, and motor functioning. All communication preferences are welcome. The cost is $250 per drummer, and most support funding is accepted. The program also welcomes volunteers.
