This bird walk offers wildlife viewing across a rich mix of habitats at Morgan Falls Overlook Park. The outing begins in the Overlook Park parking lot and follows the road below toward Morgan Falls Dam. Expect varied terrain that may include wet grass, stairs, gently sloped pavement, and unpaved trails. A spotting scope and loaner binoculars will be available for participants. Free parking and restrooms are available at Overlook Park. This is a free event, and registration is required to manage group size.

Guided by guitarist Alex Gannon, the band evolved from a power trio rooted in blues rock that he launched in early 2024 with drummer Erick Vale and bassist Andrew Venet. After a year of regular shows that blended new originals with an array of covers, Atlanta vocalist Kelley Lubitz joined in for a few guest spots, and in early 2025 the sound expanded further with the addition of longtime friend Ian Nye on electric keys. With backgrounds that span many styles, the quintet puts its own stamp on both familiar tunes and homegrown material. Organized by the BLAQUE Excellence Network, this inaugural cookout gathers professionals, entrepreneurs, families, community leaders, creatives, and guests for a lively celebration of fellowship, impact, and excellence at LG’s Gala Event Venue. Expect an open bar, live entertainment with a DJ, friendly games of spades and dominoes, networking and community connection, opportunities for photos, and plenty of great food with classic cookout energy. The program also features vendors and sponsor activations, a backpack and school supply drive that supports local youth, and special recognition of the 2025 PromISE Scholar and family. Guests are encouraged to bring new backpacks or school supplies for the community giveback initiative. Registration is required, space is limited, and Epique Agents receive free admission.

Guests can browse vendor stalls, enjoy live music on the Town Green, stop into nearby restaurants for dinner, and sip as they stroll with an adult beverage purchased from nearby bars. A Kids Zone in the Sunken Garden adds family-friendly activities, making this a welcoming gathering place in the heart of Alpharetta.

Music on the Hill featuring Nashville Nation

The season finale of Music on the Hill features Nashville Nation on the lawn at Roswell City Hall, where a relaxed picnic-friendly setting meets live music. This high-energy country band mixes today’s chart hits with beloved classics, delivering foot-stomping rhythms, upbeat melodies, and plenty of singalong moments with a nostalgic nod to country’s roots and its modern sound. The series celebrates the iconic music of the 1980s as part of America250 in Roswell. This concert is free and open to the public. Beer, wine, and sangria will be available for purchase, presented by sponsors Top Job Beverage and Events and Gate City Brewing Company, with additional support from Rock-N-Taco, Wellstar Health System, and Phoenix Senior Living for City of Roswell Special Events.
