Juneteenth Celebration 2026
A community festival in Douglasville celebrates Juneteenth at Boundary Waters Recreation Complex, honoring freedom, Black achievement, vibrant culture, and strong community spirit. The gathering offers a lively, family-friendly atmosphere with hundreds of enthusiastic attendees. Businesses and organizations can participate as vendors or sponsors, gaining prime visibility while helping create lasting memories. After registering interest, applicants receive the official vendor or sponsor application by email, and a Certificate of Insurance is required. There is time set aside for vendor setup before opening, followed by festival hours, and breakdown is to be completed promptly at closing. Vendors may use 10x10 tents and should bring their own tables, chairs, and other setup items. Dressing for the weather is encouraged. Boundary Waters ParkAfternoon Kayak Paddle
A park ranger leads a guided kayak paddle around the reservoir with a focus on spotting local plants and wildlife. Participants must be at least 10 years old, and minors need to be accompanied by an adult. The cost is $35 per person. Pack water, a hat, sunglasses, and a dry bag. Funny Bus Comedy Tour
Experience Atlanta from a different angle with a 90 minute comedy city tour aboard the Funny Bus.
