Michelle Malone brings her roots-driven sound to Eddie’s Attic alongside Trina Meade & Co. A veteran of more than three decades, Malone blends roadhouse rock, blues, folk, and country-soul, a mix shaped by her Georgia roots and reflected across more than a dozen studio albums. Her album Southern Comfort was crafted with a close-knit group of southern collaborators and features contributions from Charlie Starr and Paul Jackson of Blackberry Smoke, Rick Richards of The Georgia Satellites, guitarist Doug Kees, and Americana great Buddy Miller. The title track revisits her early Drag The River era as a tribute to late drummer Billy Pitts, charged with Telecaster bite, slide guitar, and a stomping groove. Across the record she moves from intimate storytelling to amplifier-ready rockers and fluid slide work, co-writing many songs with Dean Dillon. Her ties to the scene run deep, from singing with Drivin N Cryin to sharing stages with Indigo Girls and Shawn Mullins. Songs range from breezy, Petty-tinged rock to fiddle-laced shuffles and southern soul reflections on loss, offering music that feels grounded in place yet speaks broadly. Trina Meade & Co. round out the bill with a powerhouse lineup. Fronted by Atlanta singer and songwriter Trina Meade, whose career includes work with OutKast, Fishbone, Indigo Girls, Stevie Wonder, Blind Boys of Alabama, Toby Keith, Blue Oyster Cult, Pebbles, and Babyface, the group features guitarist and songwriter Donna Hopkins, longtime Atlanta bassist Jon Schwenke, drummer Jason LaMarca, and multi-instrumentalist Jon Harris, a bandleader and recording artist known for guitar, slide, lap steel, and mandolin. After years with Three5Human, Meade is stepping into a new solo chapter with her project Ashes.

This kickoff to 2026 reaffirms ongoing partnerships across the city and a commitment to the euro car community. Plans include several pop-up events at different locations over the course of the year, adding fresh momentum while continuing the positive work already underway.

At Eddie's Attic, three friends share the stage in a writer in the round, trading songs and stories as they go. Singer-songwriters Becky Shaw, Alicia Stockman, and Wyatt Espalin each bring a distinct Americana voice shaped by different parts of the United States. Becky Shaw is originally from Seattle, Washington, and has called Decatur, Georgia home for more than three decades after moving to Atlanta in 1989. She forged an eclectic sound by writing, recording, and playing in bands across the city’s vibrant music scene. She now performs primarily as a solo artist, known for intimate sets at house concerts and venues nationwide, with a second solo album slated for release this fall. Alicia Stockman hails from Heber City, Utah, where the Wasatch and Uinta Mountains frame a landscape that informs her songwriting with rugged honesty and a deliberate pace. Influenced by Jewel, Susan Tedeschi, Grace Potter, and the Indigo Girls, she blends folk, blues, and pop with a touch of country under the Americana banner. Her recognitions include an Honorable Mention in the 2025 Telluride Troubadour Contest for the song September, a spot on American Songwriter’s Top 100 Songs of 2022 for Halfway to Houston, three Songwriter Serenade semifinalist nods, a win at the 2017 Suzanne Millsaps Performing Songwriter competition at the Utah Arts Festival, and second place finishes at the 2019 Wildflower! Arts & Music Festival and the 2021 Tucson Folk Festival. Raised in North Georgia, Wyatt Espalin is an award-winning singer, fiddler, and storyteller whose music is steeped in Appalachian tradition. His path began with championship clogging and Appalachian buck dancing, then turned toward songwriting and performance. He released his debut full-length album, Lies From A Lonesome Valley, in 2026, reflecting on identity, belonging, and the search for home. His accolades include winning the 2014 L.E.A.F. Festival New Song Singer-Songwriter Competition and finalist honors in the Chris Austin Songwriting Contest at MerleFest, the Rocky Mountain Folk Festival Songwriter Showcase, and the Songwriter Serenade. Together, these artists weave an evening of camaraderie and Americana, with voices and stories shaped by the Northwest, the mountain West, and the Appalachian South.
