Pomaika'i"Origins"
A vibrant multicultural dance showcase celebrates the traditions that have shaped Hawaiʻi, featuring lively performances from Hawaii, Tahiti, the Philippines, Korea, Japan, Spain, Mexico, and more. Designed for all ages, it brings the islands’ role as a Pacific crossroads to life through color, rhythm, and storytelling. This two-hour experience also offers a choice of guided or self-guided access to a cultural costume museum, where exhibits follow Hawaiʻi’s history from Polynesian migrations to later Asian and Western arrivals, highlighting how each community influenced dance, music, and daily life. Guests can create a small keepsake through hands-on activities such as kukui nut work or weaving with ti leaf or lauhala, and there are opportunities to take photos with the performers. Seating is limited.
