    Midwest Shredfest brings Asphalt Apocalypse to Hawkeye Downs Speedway in Cedar Rapids, delivering a two day, rain or shine celebration of drifting with tire smoke, roaring engines, and side by side action. Spectators can enjoy free general admission, with a $30 pit pass option, and children under 10 are free. All guests complete payment at the gate and sign a waiver. Ride-alongs are offered for those with a pit pass and their own helmet. New drivers are welcome. Convertibles are allowed with a rollover bar, and a cage is only required for tandem runs. Expect multiple course layouts shaped by driver input and support from two on site tire technicians. Food trucks will be available, and pets are not permitted. Driver pricing includes a $200 weekend pass that comes with a cool shirt, a $100 single day pass without a shirt, and a $120 single day pass if purchased at the gate. Weekend driver passes are not sold at the gate. The event flow includes driver and media check in and tech, spectator entry and a drivers meeting, on track sessions with an intermission, additional driving, and a wrap up to close the day, followed by a second day with the same structure and final sessions to conclude the weekend.
