Feeding the 5000 Families Progressive Dinner

This progressive dinner features appetizers at First United Methodist Church, continues with salad and a main course at The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints, Caldwell Park building, and concludes with dessert at Central Christian Church. Vegetarian selections will be available. Funds raised benefit the Idaho Foodbank and will remain in Southeast Idaho. Admission is $15 per person, and there is no charge for children age 10 and under. Tickets can be obtained at the door or from the Idaho Foodbank.

LEAP into Leadership Community Challenge

Leadership Pocatello-Chubbuck and the Chamber host a community challenge devoted to developing Southeast Idaho’s future leaders. It features a relay competition that raises funds for scholarships supporting LEAP high school graduates as they continue on to college. Teams and sponsorship opportunities are available. Volunteers are also needed for a scavenger hunt component, helping guide participants as they race to complete tasks. Volunteer roles require availability for the entire event and comfort working outdoors in a high energy, semi chaotic environment. Proceeds benefit the LEAP Student Scholarship program. Free Community Electronic Waste Recycling Drop Off Event

Clear out unwanted or broken electronics at a free community drop off hosted by eCyclers of Idaho in collaboration with Idaho National Laboratory. The event takes place at the ISU Pond Student Center and is open to the general public at no cost. Staff will assist with unloading and sorting, then securely wipe data and repurpose, reuse, or dismantle items for responsible recycling. Accepted items include TVs, phones, laptops, desktops, monitors, printers, and other household electronics and appliances, whether they contain batteries or not. eCyclers of Idaho follows R2v3 certified data sanitation and responsible recycling practices, and all data containing devices are securely wiped or destroyed.

SE Idaho Days Festival & Parade

A free admission community festival at the Bannock County Event Center celebrates Southeast Idaho with food trucks and unique vendors. The festivities open with the Star Spangled Banner and a free potato bar for the first 50 attendees, then roll into playful Redneck Games that include a hub cap toss, three legged races, redneck horseshoes, a tractor tire heavy pull, and fun contests for beards, mustaches, mullets, and big hair. A kids bike and walking parade follows the dirt paths and leads to the main stage, an inflatable carnival, and a petting zoo presented by SRD's Traveling Animals featuring more than 16 species. More than ten inflatables are available throughout the event with a wristband. Expect live performances on the stage, free entry contests and a talent show, Power Wheels races for children, and plenty of prizes. Highlights also include Snake River New Horizon's Band, a free RC car track on dirt and grass for those who bring their own RC vehicles, the petting zoo for 2 dollars, a set by Chuck G known as The Irish Magic Guy, and a watermelon eating contest. Food trucks stay open with lots to try.

Reaper's Den Shoothouse Championship

Step into a close-quarters airsoft championship inside Reaper’s Den’s indoor shoothouse in Pocatello, Idaho. Competitors run a course with 24 total targets, including 14 armed hostiles and 10 no-shoots placed in tight angles and corners. Hitting a no-shoot adds a 15-second penalty, so quick decisions and precise shots are essential. Each participant gets two qualifying runs and the best time counts. A finals bracket follows for top performers, with tiebreakers as needed. A live leaderboard tracks the action, and arena games extend the experience beyond the shoothouse. Early arrivals can receive one complimentary warm-up run. Top finishes earn gear prizes. First place receives a Lancer Tactical W10 Widowmaker Gen 4 M4 with a GATE Aster MOSFET, tightbore barrel, ambidextrous controls, and blacked-out WAG styling. Second place takes a WE Tech Hi-Capa Hyper Speed gas blowback pistol with full-auto capability. Third place is awarded a VISM NcSTAR tactical vest with ANSI-rated goggles and a full-face mask. Ref Recognition Awards highlight best sportsmanship and fair play, and door prizes are offered during the event. A Balloon Shoot side game runs alongside the main competition for $1 per shot. Difficulties are adjusted for participants 12 and under, and once a balloon is popped the side game is complete for that player. Entry is $40 when prepaid or $50 at the door. Admission includes two qualifying attempts, access to the finals bracket if you advance, and event-wide activities. Gun rentals are available for $20. Pulled pork sandwiches will be available for purchase. Limited spots and high stakes set the tone throughout.
