Friday Night Bingo returns to VSW with a welcoming evening of games, raffles, and friendly connection. Admission is $5 and includes four bingo games, with prizes awarded throughout the night. Look for extra excitement with fun raffles and 50/50 drawings. Seating is available both indoors and outdoors, and the event is open to the entire community with no membership required. For nearly 60 years, VSW has brought people together and supported meaningful connections for adults with intellectual and developmental disabilities and their families, and this gathering continues that tradition.

This family friendly car show welcomes every kind of ride. Cars, trucks, motorcycles, bicycles and RC cars are all encouraged to participate, and clubs are welcome too. Spectator entry is free. Registration is on site and cash only, with fees of $30 for cars, trucks and motorcycles, $20 for bicycles, and $10 for RC cars. Tent stakes are not permitted, so bring weights for any tents. For safety and courtesy there is no drag racing, burnouts, loud engine revving, or high speed driving. Those interested in vending or sponsorship can request details by direct message. A family-friendly run at Waubonsie Lake Park brings together every pace and fitness level with 5K, 10K, and 15K options, plus an untimed 1 mile and a kids dash. Packet pickup takes place before the start. The kids dash meets at the main start line and participants are guided to the starting area. The national anthem leads into the race, and live results and awards are available at the registration tent right after you finish. Every registration includes a designer shirt, a custom bib, a finisher medal, chip timing with live results and awards, free race photos, and a complimentary Kona Ice at the finish. The 1 mile entry is untimed and still comes with the custom bib, shirt, and medal. The kids dash is for ages 10 and under and includes a mini bib, a youth-sized shirt, and a special medal, and children may run the dash without the swag at no cost. Youth pricing is offered for the 5K and 10K, with entry for ages 12 and under priced at $17. Register early to help guarantee a shirt. The atmosphere focuses on fun, affordability, and inclusivity, whether you are chasing a personal best or enjoying a relaxed run.

Designed specifically for homeschool families, this Junior Ninjas session at Ultimate Ninjas Academy welcomes children ages 6 to 9 for a 50 minute class that starts with a warm up, then moves into guided obstacle challenges and course runs with a coach. Participants take on kid-sized versions of well-known elements like monkey bars, trapeze bars, a rock wall, a warped wall, rings, and lache movements, along with other favorites inspired by television competitions. No prior obstacle experience is required. The program builds on concepts introduced in Lil Ninjas when applicable, introducing more advanced skills and techniques at a comfortable pace. Coaches support students as they approach new challenges, emphasizing safety, confidence, and proper movement. Each week features fresh goals, new courses, and progressively harder tasks to help young ninjas develop strong fundamentals while having fun.

Enjoy a fun-filled afternoon of free local shopping, live music, activities for kids, and food and nature classes set in the museum’s outdoor park. New this year, Down on the Farm Hour invites families to connect and learn with free performances, story time, and more. Adults can take part in free sessions with community organizations and local experts on topics like backyard chickens and beekeeping. Explore the museum’s new We the People: Naperville and the American Story exhibit and step into historic buildings including the blacksmith shop and the one-room schoolhouse, all with no admission fee. Admission is free.

Kids ages 6 to 11 can take part in a single-day session that features both wiffle ball and kickball. The class lasts one hour, with roughly 30 minutes devoted to each sport. Coaches will guide teams and encourage strategic thinking while keeping the focus on active play and fun. No prior experience is required.
