    Alley Art Festival AURORA 2026

    Now in its sixteenth year, this downtown Aurora arts celebration transforms Water Street Mall and Downer Place into an open air gallery with nearly one hundred artists, and it marks the final year of this outdoor tradition. Admission is free, and the on street festival welcomes all ages and abilities. Leashed pets are permitted, though attendees should anticipate large crowds and amplified music. Superjumbo Records and Arcade is the presenting sponsor, with additional support from Ald. Jonathan Nunez, Rep. Barbara Hernandez, Fox Valley Credit Union, Aurora Film Society, Laura Lynne Art LLC, and Gina Salamone. An information tent will be located on Water Street Mall north of City Hall across from The Venue, offering festival merchandise, maps, and suggestions for places to shop, dine, and explore in downtown Aurora. Food will be available on site, with vendors such as Strawberries BBQ, The Lovely Lemon, Polly Ann Cakes, Kool Kat Ice Cream, and Snow Cone Sisters, and offerings may change. Downer Place will be closed to traffic from Water Street to Stolp Avenue for this on street, outdoor event. Free parking is available in city surface lots, and smoking or vaping is not allowed within the festival area. Artist applications are closed, and a full lineup will be shared closer to the event.
