Part of Rock The Block, the Block 59 Summer Concert Series, this free community show features 7th Heaven performing live on the grassy lawn at Block 59. Expect an easygoing outdoor atmosphere where guests can relax on blankets, enjoy music in the open air, and pick up food from nearby spots. Free tickets are available. Alcohol is not permitted on the lawn. 7th Heaven has been entertaining audiences for about four decades and typically plays around 200 shows each year, including many outdoor concerts.

Hosted by Hope at McBride's North Pub & Grille, this interactive game night brings rotating game show styles to the bar with friendly competition and prizes on the line. Teams of at least two take on survey matchups inspired by Team Feud and tackle Wheel of Letters style word puzzles, with formats switching to keep things fresh. The action is easy to learn and moves quickly, so it is entertaining for both players and those cheering from the sidelines. Entry is free and no RSVP is needed. Now in its sixteenth year, this downtown Aurora arts celebration transforms Water Street Mall and Downer Place into an open air gallery with nearly one hundred artists, and it marks the final year of this outdoor tradition. Admission is free, and the on street festival welcomes all ages and abilities. Leashed pets are permitted, though attendees should anticipate large crowds and amplified music. Superjumbo Records and Arcade is the presenting sponsor, with additional support from Ald. Jonathan Nunez, Rep. Barbara Hernandez, Fox Valley Credit Union, Aurora Film Society, Laura Lynne Art LLC, and Gina Salamone. An information tent will be located on Water Street Mall north of City Hall across from The Venue, offering festival merchandise, maps, and suggestions for places to shop, dine, and explore in downtown Aurora. Food will be available on site, with vendors such as Strawberries BBQ, The Lovely Lemon, Polly Ann Cakes, Kool Kat Ice Cream, and Snow Cone Sisters, and offerings may change. Downer Place will be closed to traffic from Water Street to Stolp Avenue for this on street, outdoor event. Free parking is available in city surface lots, and smoking or vaping is not allowed within the festival area. Artist applications are closed, and a full lineup will be shared closer to the event.

This family friendly car show welcomes every kind of ride. Cars, trucks, motorcycles, bicycles and RC cars are all encouraged to participate, and clubs are welcome too. Spectator entry is free. Registration is on site and cash only, with fees of $30 for cars, trucks and motorcycles, $20 for bicycles, and $10 for RC cars. Tent stakes are not permitted, so bring weights for any tents. A free, 30-minute naloxone training held in recognition of International Overdose Awareness Day. Learn how to identify the signs of an opioid overdose and how to respond quickly and safely. Participants receive a naloxone kit at no cost upon completion. No registration is required.
