Natural Pigment Workshop

Explore the art of making watercolor from the ground up in this beginner-friendly workshop. Participants create their own pigments from natural minerals using a simple two-step process, grinding with a mortar and pestle, then binding the color with a muller. After preparing the paints, the group practices a handful of watercolor techniques and uses the handmade colors to create cards. All materials are provided, and the workshop fee is $40.
