Learn to Play Hockey offers on-ice sessions for youth. Options are available for ages 4 to 13, with a new offering for ages 13 to 19. Each session costs $5 and all equipment is provided. Please arrive early for gear fitting and to sign in at the main office. Instruction is provided in partnership with Columbus Youth Hockey.

The McDonald’s MainStage features host DJ Matty-O linking a lineup that includes a spoken word and DJ set by DJ Jones Portal, music from singer songwriter Nora Belle, R&B and soul by Day N Nite, FCBD and Datura style belly dance from Dark Side Troupe, and sketch comedy from Ramona Baldoni. Beyond the stage, look for print-on-demand festival tees from M&M Press Prints, a life size balloon globe and photo backdrop by Boot Backdrops, a silent disco with multiple playlist options, and aerial artistry from Suspended Animation. Food trucks, baked goods, and coffee from Dorothy’s Playhouse will be on hand, along with local beverages from Upland Brewing and The Garage. Families can enjoy a new area with yard games presented by One Human Endeavor and the Columbus Indiana Kubb Club. Children have a free Kids’ Zone with a bouncy obstacle course, balloon animals, a magician, and a foam party. Teens ages 12 to 19 have a free tent with crafts and activities supported by Foundation for Youth, pizza from HotBox, snacks, and more. A Versiti blood drive will also be on site, with both sign ups and walk ins available.
