Plan for a full lineup running throughout the afternoon into the evening, with doors opening at 1:40 PM. Free parking is available, and the event is expected to last about 8 hours.

Learn how the displacement works, how to time it so your step arrives exactly as the other dancer’s space opens up, and how to make the movement feel easy once the mechanics are clear. It’s a practical session aimed at helping you stop chasing the leg and start reading the movement.

Creative Media Summer Workshops (ages 10-13) is a hands-on, in-person four-day experience where kids learn digital media production through a mix of activities. Over the week, participants will work on creative projects such as scriptwriting, stop-motion animation, voice acting and recording, video production and editing, sound effects (foley), music composition, and designing title slates and credits. Snack breaks are included, and no prior experience is needed.

Join an in-person tango class focused on why sacada is so important structurally. The class breaks down what a boleo is, how the follower’s free leg stays in the right motion as the leader changes direction, and how to avoid anticipating or resisting the moment. You’ll also work through directional boleos, and if you’re ready, contra boleos that move against the expected direction for a different feel.
