Auditions are underway for a fall production of Carrie the Musical, the story of Carrie White, a teen outsider who longs to belong. She is targeted by the popular crowd at school and overlooked by many, while at home her loving yet controlling mother keeps a tight hold on her life. Carrie has discovered a special power, and when pushed too far she is ready to use it. Exit 7 Players Theater is seeking a cast of 20 to 30 performers, with all roles open. Performers of any race, ethnicity, gender identity, sexuality, and disability status are encouraged to audition, and the production welcomes a community of many different backgrounds. Those interested should reserve an audition slot in advance. Auditions take place over multiple days, and callbacks are by invitation only. Character descriptions, details about the audition process, and the audition form are available through the company. Participants must be at least 16 by the time performances begin. Anyone under 18 will need a signed permission slip from a parent or guardian. The creative team includes Director Bailey Fitzpatrick, Music Director Benjamin Mabrey, Choreographer Hannah McGee, Stage Manager Shaina Hibert, and Producers Andy Price and Katie Fitzpatrick.

Trace the epic journey of Henry Knox’s Noble Train of Artillery, which moved 59 pieces of captured British artillery more than 300 miles over frozen rivers and snow-covered mountains from Fort Ticonderoga to Boston during the winter of 1775 to 1776. That bold effort helped drive the British from the city in the spring of 1776. In commemoration of the 250th anniversary of this achievement, the grounds of the historic Thomas Smith House will come alive as costumed educators from Fort Ticonderoga, accompanied by non-firing cannon and live oxen, share engaging oratory and dramatic demonstrations. This living history event is designed for the whole family. The c. 1757 Thomas Smith House and the 1920 Delmore Hawthorne Garage will also be open for tours. This event is free and open to the public. This program is supported in part by a grant from the Agawam Cultural Council, a local agency supported by the Mass Cultural Council, a state agency.

Part of the Stern Army Tournament Series, this friendly 3 strike knockout pinball competition takes place at Rustic Brewing Company and welcomes all skill levels. A brief warm up for new players is offered before play so participants can learn the format, ask questions, and get comfortable on the machines. The schedule moves from a warm up to registration and then into tournament rounds. Matches are played in groups of three or four. In four player games, the third and fourth place finishers each receive one strike. In three player games, only the last place finisher receives a strike. Three strikes result in elimination. The final competitor remaining is the winner, and prizes are awarded to the top three finishers. Entry is $10 with $1 going to IFPA, and games are on coin drop. Tickets are offered as Barre Only for $25, which includes the class, or Barre + Pick-Your-Own Flowers for $45, which adds time in the fields and one flower cup to fill with seasonal blooms. For those attending the full series, the Summer Series Barre Only pass is $65, and the Summer Series Barre + Pick-Your-Own pass is $120, which includes flower picking and one flower cup after each class. North Breed Auto Club and Team Zolo present Blast From The Past Car Show 2026, a celebration of automotive nostalgia featuring show cars and bikes, games, and community fun. Awards include recognition for the Top 40 Cars and Top 5 Bikes, along with AC of the Day, MC of the Day, Best Female, Under Construction, and Car of the Day. Special categories are available for an additional five dollars, including Best Classic, Best Music judged by meter, 2 Step, and Best Wrap. The program also features team tug of war, a team sack race, a water dunk challenge with both presidents, and a food eating competition. Vendors, food, raffles, and more add to the experience.
Terminator: Future Not Set
Xtreme Paintball hosts a Terminator-themed scenario where the battle between humans and machines is underway and the timeline can still be altered to stop Skynet before it goes live. Players pick a side and register for either the Resistance or Skynet. The Resistance is led by John Lake with XO Clive Fernet of Mayhem Company, while Skynet is commanded by Dragon of The Select Few with Matt Santos of East Coast Hunters. Commander posters are planned to be released soon. Pre-registration is $35 and day-of entry is $45. Field paint is required, priced between $55 and $65 per case. BYOFSR is permitted for an additional $20 added to registration. Expect raffle prizes, merchandise, and pizza with drinks. A portion of proceeds supports Wounded Warrior Project. Run the Runway returns with a rare chance to move at your own pace along a real runway. Organized by the Westover Galaxy Community Council with support from the Westover Metropolitan Airport team and military partners at Westover Air Reserve Base, this experience invites participants to run or walk on the runway at the country’s largest air reserve base. Registration will open ahead of the event. There is a shirt deadline, and anyone registering after that point may not be guaranteed a shirt or the preferred size. Registration prices increase after the deadline. Please be cautious of posts claiming to accept vendor registrations, since only information from the Westover Galaxy Community Council is official.

The veteran quintet features bandleader and guitarist Jim Weider (The Band, Levon Helm’s Midnight Ramble Band, Jim Weider Band), keyboardist Brian Mitchell (Levon Helm’s Midnight Ramble Band), bassist Albert Rogers (Jim Weider Band, Jimmy Vivino), drummer Michael Bram (Jason Mraz), and keyboardist Matt Zeiner (Dickey Betts). United by a deep knowledge of this tradition, they channel what Weider calls the Woodstock Sound and continue to carry it forward.
