    Settle in by the Chemung River for an open air watercolor session led by local artist and instructor Bridget Bossart van Otterloo. Unwind as you explore landscape techniques surrounded by nature. Please note that the workshop has been moved to a new date. This outdoor program takes place at the Bottcher's Landing Boat Launch in the Town of Big Flats, with setup in the shaded pavilion. Participants are welcome to bring camping chairs and move around the property while they paint. All materials are provided, including high quality brushes, 140 lb cold press watercolor paper, Winsor & Newton paints, palettes, drawing boards, and rainwater from on site barrels. Consider bringing snacks and a reusable water bottle to reduce plastic waste. For comfort, a lawn chair for painting outside the pavilion, a sun hat or sunglasses, sunscreen, and bug spray are recommended.
