Marathon teams from the Consumers Energy 78th AuSable River Canoe Marathon take on the Weyerhaeuser time trial sprints, presented by Home Waters Real Estate and Paddle Hard Brewing, at Penrod's Au Sable Canoe and Kayak. Crews race a timed out-and-back course, paddling upstream to Old AuSable Fly Shop/Ray's before turning to head back downriver. Their recorded times determine the starting order for the Le Mans style start of the marathon.

Gits & Shiggles and AuSable Community Theatre join forces for A Salute to Hollywood at the AuSable Artisan Village Performing Arts Center. This one-night collaboration celebrates iconic movie moments, pairing the polished drama of AuSable Community Theatre with the quick, improvisational comedy and cheerful absurdity of Gits & Shiggles as they put a fresh spin on favorite scenes. The blend of styles creates an energetic tribute to the magic of film with plenty of laughs along the way. Admission is free. After the performance, voluntary donations will be collected, with all proceeds benefiting the AuSable Community Theatre program and supporting future productions.
